I bought Laura Gellar yrs ago when she first started on the Q. I loved spackle and found that very hydrating for my skin. As I aged the face products became too drying for my skin. She's got a range of the Spackle primers now, there's the original still, a bunch of blur/glow ones (like rose glow, champagne glow which I got in a kit w/French Vanilla highlighter, um bronze for darker skin I think) and there's a "hydrating" one now.

Emily, you are the ONLY woman on CZcams who talks about and uses Laura Geller. I started using it when it seemed only QVC carried these products. She developed a lot of my firsts. The baked foundation is a ride or die even if I only use it on top of a liquid foundation. She was a first, it seemed, with a spackle, which was my first primer ever. French vanilla was my first highlight. Her bronzer was my first. Her kohl liners. I think she started it all lol I have buttercream and the tropic hues. The first tropic lip color set I did not get but I have the newest one. I look on ebay for Berry bliss blush. I hit pan years ago and still dig out a little because I refuse to get rid of that pan😂. I have her baked shadow palettes. 3 of them. You can add water. Thank you for bringing this brand to the forefront for those who haven't heard of her. She is iconic. ❤❤

I went on a Laura Geller splurge recently because they have great deals. Love their face powder, face palettes and makeup brushes the most. Their customer service is exceptional. No hassle returns and easy price adjustments. I’m impressed. It looks like all her products are mostly made in Italy which is impressive. Very pleased with everything I’ve tried so far. ❤

Funny story... I heard you mention Barbies in this video. I was a Tom boy growing up. There weren't many girls on my block. The only time I played with my one Barbie Doll was when she was tied up, as a hostage, about to be rescued by the neighbor boy's GI Joe! I guess it's no wonder I grew up to be a Marine!

If you use her baked eyeshadows wet, they really intensify and dance on the eyes. I love them!

I love Trouble. It was one of the presents Santa brought lol. My son will be 4 next week, so I figured we could play and work on his counting. I remember playing it for hrs with my mom. I recently lost my mom, so I thought starting the Trouble tradition with my son would be a way of incorporating things I did with her as a kid into something I can do with mine. I have a few Laura Geller products, and think she is so underrated in the CZcams space.

I wish I bought more Laura Geller that big pallet I should have definitely bought! Her sales were fantastic! This is my first try with Laura Geller products and I really like them! You’re right that they are underrated! Also I am 61 and I find it works well for me.
Crazy! Haven't watched yet but I bought that same face palette after seeing the blush in the Emily awards and I absolutely love it. I wouldn't have given it a second thought myself but I know Emily never steers me wrong 😅

I absolutely love Laura Geller blushes and I found her only thanks to you. Her blushes are the most beautiful Mosaic swirl of colors. They are truly a luxurious treat every time I use them 🩷. My favorite is pink grapefruit, it is truly perfect, but I have almost all of her blushes except the very deep ones for darker skintones.
I am really interested in Down to Earth as it is more cool toned, but I am quite fair. I suppose I could just be really light with it, the other blushes are very nice but I wonder if they might be too warm for me.
@taramisu9978 I just took a look at that one, that does look very intriguing. It's one of the ones I don't have. I am especially tempted by apricot berry!
@@irisk934 Yes...I have it and Pink Buttercream in my cart as PB is more neutral. They are all really nice but some are too warm for me so there are really only a couple that call to me. We will see what I decide.
I absolutely love the baked balance and brighten foundation. It does not collect in my creases like liquid foundations do. Middle age momma here, I have creases! And her bronzer and blushes are very pigmented and easy to blend. A setting spray really sets it all .

Hi there, I just wanted to endorse the Christmas decorations throughout the Twelve Days of Christmas until the Twelfth Night or the day before the Epiphany (6th of January), when churches and households in many countries take down their decorations... And in fact, churches in other countries even keep up their Christmas decorations and recognize the liturgical Christmas season until Candlemas (February 2).
So, we are still early in Christmas here on the third day of Christmas! And a very merry Christmas to you as well!
P.s. Because of your recent mention, I remembered my love for Laura Geller kajal eyeliners and placed an order for products I'd never tried, probably during the same post Thanksgiving sale you did! I am trying them out this week.

I play Trouble with the grandkids now. And I still have fun. Guess who came out Christmas in the late 80’s I believe and I loved playing it with my kids. Now it’s Pictionary Jr and parents vs kids is fun.
I’ve NEVER owned a Laura Gellar product and somehow stumbled across an ad for the sale her site was having. Ended up with 4 face and eye palettes that came as one set, a spackle primer, and a Wheel of Fortune eyeshadow palette 😂 The products blend sooo good. They’re not my most pigmented shadows and are quite soft, but they do last all day and look beautiful.
If you like to play games, you should get Happy Salmon. It is so fun. It’s not a board game but it’s a really good one to play with family.
I love LG makeup! My only complaint is that her most of her foundation products run warm. I wear Baked,Balance, and Brighten in Porcelain, but that is far too light for me except for the winter months. Fair ends up looking downright yellow on my cool complexion.

Agree need more shades. I'm cf and ff and mineral focused and since Bare Minerals went to heck there's really no other pressed mineral I want. I have the the whole range (Double Take, Balance n Brighten, Balance n Glow) in both Porcelain and Fair and I have to mix depending what I want.
"Double Take" Fair and Porcelain are different shades than the Balance range, both still warm though. Porcelain is definitely darker in that line, very little pink and more of a slight yellow/peach undertone. Fair is quite orangey. I usually mix Double Take Porcelain (I need full coverage) and then BnB in Porcelain to lighten it up and take back the warm a tiny bit (gotta be careful w/all that pink in BnB Porcelain tho. Light hand, looser brush).
Buying 2 shades/types and mixing is annoying but it's not like I'm not used to it. I usually have to buy 2 shades of high end foundations anyway. I'm 43. I know there's no such thing as the perfect shade for me (still not found it!) but I keep hoping LOL. Reality is 2 shades and a mixer usually.
Thank you for this comment. I was considering the foundation but it sounds like the Porcelain shade may be the only one that would suit me, but I am cool toned so maybe I should just pass on it entirely. I do want to try a blush though.

Love Trouble! My husband and I started playing Trouble when the pandemic started. We play every time we sit at the table to eat. We have gone through 3 boards over the last three years! An easy, fun game to play!
Love LG, such great products and she’s always running a great deal. I think she’s been underrated for years. I love that little quad, I might need it. My favorite purchase this year was the all in one face palette, perfect for my beach vacation and beyond.

I remember when you first raved about French Vanilla. I bought it, loved it and have used it most days ever since. I actually put it all over my cheeks (unless I have a highlighty blush on) and it just gives a lovely glow. Thank you for introducing me to French Vanilla! Emma x

I love Laura Geller face products. I just reordered the balance and brighten for the third time as well as the really good deal that had on the four set mini face palettes. I use the foundation powder as a setting powder sometimes as well as an all over foundation. I love the blushes. I have the eyeshadow palette you have there myself as well and I love it for everyday looks as it's so diffused and soft looking when worn. You need to go look at that four mini face and eye palettes they are selling right now though the 'party in a palette' set.
Oh and i cant be without french vanilla.

I bought the Physicians Formula Vacay palette for the face. I love it 😻. I have had so many compliments from people I don’t even know about my makeup! So easy to blend and I can create different looks on my face. Lots of fun. Thanks and I hope your family enjoys the rest of the holiday season.

LG's Balance and Brighten has been my go to foundation since I discovered it a few years ago. I also love her blushes and bronzers. I have one of her older eyeshadow pallets, NY Chic I think it is, still using it regularly. I love her powder products.
During the middle of your video I went to the LG website and picked up both quads in Pink Buttercream and Tropic Hues to match the blushes I have😍

Laura Geller's lash boss mascara is definitely worth trying. Volume, length, curl hold and not much fussing with it .

I’m a powder foundation girlie but the older I get, the harder it is to find one that doesn’t look cakey and dry on my skin or sink too much into lines. BnB powder foundation is the ONE that still looks great. Lightweight and a little glowy, it’s my ride or die!
