Try to build a grid like the streets in a big american city then you put the labs in the middle let one row free on either side of the labs then put the needed modules on the outside of both sides.
Now you can do almost anything.
Use all of your connection modules. Thats the key and why at the beginning only the research in additional modules matters.
Your city i like, but cant quite see your plan in having so much plus produktion now but no people to speak of. But i havent seen all of your vids so maybe theres a system.

i tried that earlier. it causes either overheating or a lack of support. i couldn't use them by 100%. I think on long-term the "swastika-grid" i tried out here should work. future will tell.
and reagrding the city: well i want to go up to 2.5 mio people in a very short time. i will need the resources.

I have seen it work for 9+ labs, and you are still in the research mode. So only expertise matters to get all the goodies.
How you build it afterwards is a matter of preference. I like efficiency so the grid all the way. On a side note max labs is 12.

hmm dunno what is going on but when I press the play all button it starts from the latest episode and not from the oldest :) and I'm looking forward for new season on veteran mode :))
