Dude, i love your podcast...good shit man...keep it up and i will keep watching
Mad respect
Few things pump me up like SS when I'm doing construction. Thanks for the music
Rip Mitch I love ss was happy to see you on Brah Brah

Talk about walking into the devils den 😂😂. I’m not a suicide silence fan, but I’ve got mad respect for this cat for doing this. I like his podcast too.
My exact thoughts lol
Yes bro what a super nice guy.
I've seen this dude's videos for a year and didn't know he was in a band. 😂
He's funny and mad cool..love his Mortician interview.
Yeah man two totally different energies in that room 😂
There's so much buzz going round about this epic collab that the video is literally buzzing the whole way through!
The sheer Metallic Resonance of these forces colliding is creating an electromagnetic field!
Nerd
It’s super cool that Garza was open to come on the channel and talk. Hopefully it teaches the Box of Chocolate Boys out there that real men can throw hits at each other and be fine
True, I still don’t care for that genre but I give him credit for going to do the interview
@@humanbrisket7718 He's interviewed people far more iconic than the dawg. Devourment, Goatwhore, Disgorge etc..
Ah it’s all metal support it, younger generations take, all good, bang that head 🤘🔥🙏
Holdin hands with another man talking about Deathcore, right on point for The Dawg. I bet they had a date at Starbucks after.
Well, he had the channel for two years before he sold out.
@@oathbreaker222J Dawg sold out since he saw SpongeBob for the first time
It's his coming out of the closet video.
@@sinisterking6009The J Dawg fears SpongeBob.
Oh you know the dawg swallowed his little brown canoe in the Starbucks bathroom 😆 🤣 😂 😹 \m/
hahaha fair play to Garza for doing this....he seems like a good lad
I almost choked on my coffee when I saw the title
Me 2 😂
Same, I thought my eyes weren't working right for a second too.
@@zulemazahir666 hey,
It better have been store bought and brewed at home brah brah haha
I almost sneezed on my pure Columbian white (it's really just from some random dude in the hood probably half detergent or some shit)
Not a Suicide Silence fan by any means but Garza seems cool. I didn't think he do it considering Jdawg constantly beat him up in his videos. Shows you he's able to take a hit.
Agreed. Just because someone doesn’t like the music doesn’t mean they can’t get along. Respect to Garza for coming on the channel, I’m sure he’ll get beat up in the comments 😂
@@goat666db No respect.
@@odinsire3879 I have no respect for deathcore, but I can at least respect Garza as a person 🤷♂️
@@goat666dbI can't respect him as a person. He needs to go away with his band.
@@odinsire3879agreed. His band sucks donkeys.
Why is he being called a poser? Because he's in a shitty deathcore band? That doesn't make him a poser. As far as I know he's not trying to be someone he's not to impress the "true" metal boys
Deathcore is a poser gnere
Exactly. Deathcore sucks, but that doesn’t make him a poser 🤷♂️
That term has turned into a blanket statement and lost its true meaning. It gets thrown around wildly... especially here.
This comment is based.
🗣🗣
That was way less uncomfortable than i expected it to be.
J-Dawg should do a video at his high school reunion.
Im pretty sure having a personal Facebook account is how they contact you for your reunion. I dont have one and I never got contacted for my 20 year reunion. I dont know how they contacted people for their reunion before Facebook/internet existed but at some point it seems thats what they switched to.
Pls dont flash kick me
This is really amazing, how two people can be into the same thing but at the same time not be into the same thing. Top tier collab! Maybe we will see J-dawg on Garza cast some day? 👀
This is the coolest most entertaining and hilarious thing you’ve done, Justin. I love that you’re bridging the gaps here. And it speaks volumes to how humble both you and Garza are to be able to sit down and bust balls and vibe despite differences in perspective

@@Leave_The_Hall_69bathe in ball batter
I’ve never heard Suicide Silence or any band from the death core genre, but this guy comes off completely legit and honest is his own way. I’d rather see him admitting he doesn’t know that many death metal bands than pretend like the rest of the POSERS!!!!!!!
thats how must of us in the dxc scene are lmao
The Garza video finally happened guys! All we need left is the Glen Benton interview and the channel will be complete.
Chris Barnes
Nah, for Dawg's channel to be complete we need a drunken Trey Azagthoth interview, where the first half is him talking about how Illud Divinum is a "misunderstood masterpiece" and the other half is spent with Trey trashing Dave and Pete's current band, the cringefest, I Am Morbid.🤘🏻
@@distributorovkvlt-points5481and he could even bring his Bratz dolls with him!
@@distributorovkvlt-points5481 You know the best part about that is he really does hate I Am Morbid, and he has every justification in the world to hate it in my opinion because it's true as he says it's a "gay fake cover band"
@@SuicidalGrindBruh.....EVERYBODY HATES I Am Morbid, with the exception of: Ivan Horvat, I_Excalibur_I, tribunal3003, James K. Polk and candy magnate Marco Capurso.
Maybe after seeing this people will realize that they don't need to take the Dawg too seriously and get all butt hurt in the comments over him busting balls.
No shit. Maybe they will finally believe him. That he just turns up the volume WWE promo style for the channel. He only announces that he goes a bit nuts for the entertainment of us, the daily devils.
Spongedawg in the 69th position with twinkcore posers brah brah.
Great interview!
Cool interview. I am gonna give it a listen.
Hahaha good on Garza for doing the interview. Not a fan of his music in the slightest but he seems like a genuine, easy going bloke.
Stay tuned Devils. Next week the Dawg will be interviewing the bass player for MushroomHead.
Bring on the nu-metal!
J-Dawg meets J-Mann!! 😂
That'd be genuinely hilarious, he could talk about the Black Metal prank call haha
@@hamachancutterDr. F actually, but J Mann does not associate with MRH anymore. Neither does Jeffrey Nothing.
This is awesome!
Cool interview !
This was really interesting one, jdawg. Good job. You're getting great at interviewing people.
Sweet interview! Love garza!
Well here is a story for you all
I am 47 and been into music all my life but i couldn't stand death metal as a kid ,were ALL my rothers loved it ! Fast forward to 2011 and i become a fan of deathcore and it sends me down the path of discovering all forms of extreme metal ! Now i jam everything from suicide silence to nun slaughter
Its never ro late and it dont matter where you start or end whwn in comes to genre .....its in your soul
Good interview 🤘
Ha! Go figure. It took me forever to appreciate death metal as well. I got into it kind of around that time as well. I had been into underground black and thrash for years, but death metal just didn't click with me.
@@Homeboy_Metal_Productionsfor me it was black metal..I’ve only really appreciated it more in the last couple of years and I’m 40 been listening to extreme music since I was 17 lol
dude, if you are 47, in the US, you never listened to metal in the 90s man, deathcore is for kids who didnt experience metal before nu metal.
All the Formulas Fatal to the Flesh instantly stood out!! Great video man!
cool interview
I’ve never listened to a song from this guys band but I have more respect for him than loads of guys in bands I do listen to after watching this. Guy is super humble, has balls and a sense of humor. I’m a fan of him now.
WTF!! This is awesome!! Not fan of his band but Lots of respect to Garza, he has an amazing podcast, really enjoy his content. The 2 worlds finally meet!
Damn! I couldn’t focus on anything other than that vinyl bin in the background that was leaning and warping as you guys spoke!😮🥺🫣
Sick ass crossover, very entertaining Dawg, convinced that there’s no one you can’t get. I’m almost 100% sure you got a Blink 182 interview you’re just waiting to release at this point
If blink listened to death/black or just extreme metal in general, he probably would
If the Dawg gave us an _in-depth_ interview with the Abbott bros there'd be no stopping him! The only thing better than that would be an Ivan Horvat sit-down, if not Dawg than perhaps Ola Englund can make that happen. Ivan's opinion is the ONLY one that matters nowadays. Trust in Ivan\m/
The Homeboy Podcast 😎
This humming sound in the mic during all interview was pretty deathcore-ish !!! :))
Holy shit, wasn’t expecting this
He should have at least bought a nunslaughter album before he left...
You’re kicked out of the Deathcore scene for owning actual death metal albums

The dawg is such a true that even this interview has the audio quality of an 80’s Death Metal demo
Respect for this fine Garza fellow is warranted regardless of ones musical tastes. Would hang with him anytime, anywhere. A mensch.🤘
A mensch? Are you Jewish?
Garza is a good bloke, thanks for having him on 🤘🔥✌️
J-Dawg unexpected video! Garza has some cool stories!
Good interview.. .. 🤘🤮🤘
Great interview. Really cool guy. Awesome. People were boxing shit up and loading a truck during the interview hahaha. Fucking priceless. Saw these guys open for Carcass at Peabodys. Pretty cool show
It’s hard to imagine these two are about the same age.

are they!?
Good one jdawg! Funny as all get out😂.
The Dawg showing his friendly side. I was waiting for him to turn up the volume and talk a bit more shit. But it was a cool interview. I got some paddles to go with Garza’s canoe
Garza’s a good dude. Good role model for many upcoming musicians. Respects.
🤘💀🤘🎸
Deathcore, the mix of actual Death Metal and actual Hardcore has been around over 30 years. Confusion in NYC began in 1990 and Darkside NYC began in 1991. Hell, you can even hear Death Metal in early Sheer Terror demos from 1986/1987.
Not to mention there was a band from Sweden that mixed HC and DM that demoed in the late 80s actually called Deathcore.
I respect the guy for following through and showing up. Even with the chance of JDawg giving him hell. Never listen to deathcore but every generation has its scene to think the deathcore people are old news make me feel older than my late 40’s
One album i remember being good was “hate malice revenge” by all shall perish
@@lenol0315another good one I always enjoyed was ‘malice’ by Through the Eyes of the Dead. Sounds more like CC than typical deathcore
@@onewhiteponyhelps that they recorded with Rutan too
Good interview between two determined businessmen
Fuck ya, glad this happened. I love this channel and I love Garza's podcast.
I can feel the rage sizzling out of someones boots and battlevest over this one
You like totally should like make a meme out of it. My dude.
Well Mike I know exactly who, in fact I'll put a name to it, after all IVAN HORVAT is the all-knowing authority on all things Metal. The _rage_ is most definitely _sizzling_ from Ivan, out of his boots, battlevest and his MULLET. Fuck em' - let him rage n' sizzle and then rage n' sizzle some more. \m/
Not really i think Garza is a very humble person and he is very talented if anything suicide silence is still underrated in the underground metal scene because of the lack of recognition they receive from most metal purist
As compensation for the video subject of today, here's some real good news:
Anata are currently recording the vocals for their long-awaited upcoming album!
It's been a mighty long time coming, especially with the 'latest' album 'The Conductor's Departure' being released back in 2006.
Borderline surreal that it's still happening, but I'm all in for the return of the almighty Anata!
Wonder how they'll go. Huge fan of Dreams and Under A Stone but never quite got into the last one.
That's amazing, I expected it to be a stillborn project forever
Terrible band.
Wtf!!!! They’re back!?
@@guillotinedeathYep! They wrote a status on FB yesterday showing the vocalist recording...
What in the Weenie Hut Jr shit is this JDawg?!
This was unexpected.
Yeah, I saw Deicide on the Legion anniversary tour and then Cannibal a couple months ago. There were way more people at Cannibal.
Great interview. While i am not a SS fan Garza came off super cool. Congrats on the interview
Tee hee
This was a bad ass interview dude
Deathcore meets justin. Grabbing the popcorn brah brah
Alright, this is awesome
I love Garzas podcast, our band is more "thrash" but i love the road stories and people discussing recording/production. Turned me on to a lot of new music
Did you purposefully make the thumbnail you smiling and garza look like he's about to cry? Lol
Lol
Broooooo , love both these guys. Not much of a deathcore guy myself but def respect what he does and what has done for metal.
And respect to braw braw here , never in a million yrs would of thought he would show respect by opening with "wtf is deathcore" anyone else woulda learned real quick how respectful this way into is lol
Sounds like they got a Peavey 5150 on the lead channel just chilling in the background
This dude will sit down with almost anyone.........he's open minded but stands his ground. At the end of the day that's a big reason I watch the channel. That and to check out all the metal he has forgot that I haven't even heard yet.
Yeah he's very flexible like that
Yall both seem mad chill tbh
Suicide Silence is one of the worst bands that I've ever heard.
Agreed

I watched this guy talk with Glen Benton it was good man
Best part was how honest Garza was, pretty solid questions as well.
Kam Lee interview would be great!
@@SecretAgentBeans yeah let’s see if they show up over here.
Did not expect this, but you know what? Garza seems like a cool dude.
J-Dawg, this might make you laugh. I went to California this last weekend, on the drive down (14 hours) I stopped in Fresno to get breakfast and a coffee at McDonalds. I also got one of them McGriddle's and it didn't hit me until after I bought them and I started laughing my ass off.
Epic crossover, big respect to Garza. So in the beginning Garza does look like the Dawg is about to bite him or something
As a lover of both genres I love this.
Holy 🐄, didn’t expect this interview lol Used to dislike SS hardcore until a friend forced me to listen to their black crown album which I ended up enjoying quite a bit. Kudos on the channel growth J-Dawg!
"Dads and Moms coming out to shows."
Biologically I'm old enough to be a Gramps. It'll be interesting as time marches on looking at the crowds. 3 generations having a family night at a metal show. Hell yeah.
this is hilarious and awesome
Suicide Silence fans don't know or respect oldschool death metal. They don't even respect traditional metal at all.
Probably was their 1st exposure to Frank Mullen on their 3rd SS full length. People forget that he had a guest spot on that album.
@@hamachancutter I had no idea Frank was on that and I am a huge fan of Suffocation.
Most of their fans are youngsters aren't they?
@@macabre19 I'm young. They are just posers.
A few but rare. Garza even said so.. maybe CC and Deicide but they don’t dig deeper. Most of the SS fans I knew back over 10 yrs ago went into beat down hardcore/metalcore or stuff like Nails, Code Orange, Twitching Tongues, Harms Way etc
What's heavier then Korn?
How about the new Arghoslent that came in the mail today! 🤘
