Ben is very introverted and Bryce is obviously an extrovert. I love seeing each persons personality coming out.
I wouldn't really say Ben is the typical shy introvert, he just doesn't waste any time if he has nothing to say about a certain topic but if he is spoken to he has no issues conversating with people. There's plenty of time's where he chimes in during this podcast if he has something to say, he was quieter in the beginning of the show because he seems like the type that unwinds after getting comfortable (from the mid point on he talks alot)...I've also seen him chop it up with plenty of fan's at show's. If you want to see a real introvert then you should check out Dan Watson. That dude has legit anxiety and doesn't speak at all. I talked to him one time at a show and you could tell that it wasn't the type of setting that he was very comfortable in.
@@RemmyRiffs I'm Facebook friends with Dan and he has a lot of pics on his account where he scribbles out or hides his face. He hasn't in a while, but they're there.
there’s no such bs as “introvert/extrovert”
people are people, some people go outside, some people are bashful……quit trying to be a psychologist.
@@user-hw9cj2nu5fshitty take
Chris is the lead and Andrew is just happy to be there haha
Saw them live with Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, and Revocation. Sounded exactly like the album! Drummer was playing with a smile on his face for the whole 30 minute set. Great group of guys
Bryce is the best
I believe they will eventually sound better live than on record like Gojira
I had the same experience. Saw them last month and Bryce was absolutely grinning for the whole set. We met him after the show too and he was the nicest guy ever
Bryce is gold please protect him at all cost this man is legit.
i like bryce but tbh i wish anthony barone never left
Bryce is the sweetest fucking person ever, so wholesome.
This is one of the most laid back, comfortable interviews that I've had the pleasure of watching. All of the guys seem super down to earth, and just generally relatable. 10/10
This interview, this band, this mood... they cured my sadness
Speaking of first timers, I brought my girlfriend and her 2 friends, who all only listen to top 40s, to see Inferi, Shadow of intent, and Signs of the Swarm at the Webster right before the pandemic.
They were a little stiff at first, but soon enough they were moshing, crowd surfing etc. All said it was the most fun concert they've ever been to so thank you SOI for that memory.
Love this band more than I love myself
That sucks
Find a passion and follow it. Will give you purpose and something to strive for. At least for me it was the case
@@TimmyTurner421I hope yours is arm wrestling!
@@BirdOfHermes8381 The way of the gods.
A great appreciation for this band and Chris's band Currents. Bryce is such a sick dude, I'm really glad he is with SOI now!
Bryce's laugh after he says rippin and dippin at 12:10 makes me lol so hard
Bryce’s laugh is contagious
100%. Gave me a great vibe the whole time. -GaЯza
It killed me when he busted out laughing when Ben almost knocked the can over
I Fucking love you Bryce. The moment when he asked chris where he was born 🤣😵
Chris is amazing. Shadow of Intent and Currents.
17:40 what an awesome resume he has. Abigail Williams, The Faceless and now Shadow of Intent. 19:10 His background is also incredible. He went through a lot but his passion for music never left him
Protect these men at all costs!!!
Chris is a great dude and thankful to have gotten to work with him! Happy to see all the success SOI is getting.
And with Currents!
Hi guys! I'm from India. I was gonna go to bed... but when i got the notification of this when I was gonna turn of my bedroom light, I've forgotten how sleepy I was. Thank you so very much Garza for bringing my favourite band SOI. You are a total badass great guitarist too and a legend to many Garza.
And thanx to all the band members for coming in United.
SOI *The band that produce their music on their own and made it absofuckingly awesome and successful.
*The band that doesn't have the need to use high end gears (which shows it's not the guitar, but how well the guitarist can handle the guitars).
*None of them have tattoos/follow this culture that if someone is in a metal band, they have to inked up their skins.
And this man Chris Wiseman can write awesome songs after songs for Currents too. Huge respect to him, and of course all the rest three members are really good that I can't find/point out any weakness in all of them.
Thanx once again for making and sharing this video 🤍
I loved this ep, please invite Lorna Shore and Slaughter to prevail too
When Alex isn't fighting bear. 😂
Love when you invite whole bands!!
Dude Bruce is so gitty! I love it haha. You can tell he is so grateful to be where he is. He deserves it.
Love SOI, this made me appreciate them and love their music even more
Ben’s personality is so relatable 😂
The CC on my phone said " Cattle Decaf " when Ben was talking about Travis Ryan.
It killed me.
I just started watching this podcast a month ago and its already one of my favorites! 👍
This podcast needs to be bigger!!! I love it.
And tbh we needed a podcast like this for us metal heads. It's rare to see bands like this out there. You'll probably see little clips of them but not like this!!! Thanks for putting up this type of platform!
Garza, appreciate what you've done here man. Your podcast is legit, you've done an outstanding job. Kudos brother \m/
This is my new favorite podcast, now interviewing my new favorite band (since Reclaimer era), I’m in heaven
This band is such a fucking vibe man. Love these dudes!
God man I'm not even in the music industry in any which way but this is a group of people I wanna be friends with
9:34 gets me everytime🤣🤣🤣🤣 "where were you born?" " pffffff.." everyone laughs🤣😅
This band is absolutely genius and I love them even more after this podcast.
This was one of the most entertaining episodes of a podcast I've watched. These 4 guys all shooting the shit with each other really gives that brotherly bond like Bryce was talking about. Hilarious the whole way through!
I flew from Hawaii to see them in San Diego and Andrew gave me his pick! Such an awesome show 🤘🏾
Saw them at the Lorna Shore Christmas show, sight unseen.
Absolutely amazing. Don't sleep on these guys.
I got VIP tickets to their recent tour and got to meet the whole band. They were all super nice down to earth guys, makes me so happy to see them succeed now
What an awesome group of dudes. Always cool to see people like this succeed.
So interesting how many people I've listened to say the path to deathcore starts with Christian metalcore. Bryce's story is awesome.
20:10 the drummer is so awesome! Haha has Will Ramos vibes well I mean they both share a similar vibe of positivity.
These guys have been my favorite band for a few years now and their work ethic has clearly been key to their success.
First time listening to this podcast. Great to hear the "whole" band tell their stories. Literally found these guys in the comment section of a Lorna Shore music video. 😁🤘
Glad you found them, Shadow of Intent is insane, so good! Love finding bands from others comments on metal videos
Bryce is so fucking cool, such an inspiration tbh.
Hands down best open discussion/exploratory podcast within the music industry. Backtracking through all episodes now but Garza is coming into his flow and shows how comfortable he is in his world. Great interviews and guests man keep it coming! I would love to see the big bros from Koяn on in the future 🤘🏼
I appreciate that man. I still have a lot to learn but it’s been going good. Korn is in the near future. Maybe sooner than I think haha. Much love brother! -GaЯza
Ok i absolutely love Bryce. Hes such a genuine dude whos having the time of his life. Would love to chat with him at a show!
Love this podcast! Keep up the good work
I love how the vocals of the band is mostly silent haha I feel ya Ben, I’m not much of a talker either
Fuckin love these dudes, hope to see them live one day.
Garza, you need to commemorate this video doing a compilation of all bryce laughs
Andrew's glance @50:32 is everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bryce is so cool! Hope 2 meet him one day!
The outro of them talking about the page names was hilarious, definitely my favorite band right now. These podcasts are such great insight to the bands can't wait for this year!
Hey buddy. Just discovered your podcast and I’m really into it. The music scene needed something like this. Anyway, I live in the Midwest now, hope all is well with you ! 🤠🤘🏻
Thanks! I would love to see Archspire on here!
Bruce is such a sweet dude
So dope seeing you my boy with one of my favorite bands on your podcast!
Corona love 🤘🏼
I'm so surprised to hear Chris, Bryce and Andrew say they're huge fans of A7X
Huge point Bryce brought up don’t be that guy that says “I got you that spot”
Amazing podcast we needed this
Yeah I love this bands music and this interview just confirms they some good ol boys I could have a beer n a bowl with
Ben with the old school Nile T-shirt. Nice
Chris garza a beast on guitar. but a genuine cat love this podcast
I really love that you film all of these episodes. Been loving the podcast lately and I love the Shadow guys. Great episode!
great podcast, subbed! Thanks for putting this together!
Me and Ben are alike I’m listening to brutal shit all day everyday 🔥
I love these episodes with the whole band on one podcast. It feels like a sick band roundtable with weed. SOI is pretty badass
This podcast and Hardlore are just great!! Love that metal and hardcore is getting this!
first time checking out the podcast, loved it 🤘
I would like you to invite some grindcore bands like The HIRS Collective, Lotus Eater Machine, Vermin Womb, Full of Hell, Frontierer, Pig Destroyer. When you read their lyrics they actually have a lot to tell. It's usually real life stuff they deal with in their songs
I had no idea Bryce started in The Faceless. Another great interview Chris!
I had no idea he is in Mortem Obscuram! Amazing tech death.
Probably my favorite deathcore band. Cool guys
Symphonic Death Metal band now..***😁🤘🤘🤘
@@cooltechnician not really. It's true that the last album kinda leans towards death metal a bit more, but the deathcore elements are still there, and all their previous albums are deathcore so... Examples of symphonic death metal bands are Septicflesh or Fleshgod Apocalypse. The atmosphere is quite different and the production and songwriting is too. But who gives a shit about genres anyway.
Love this band. Seen them several times still can’t get enough of their music. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
My coffee was very bitter...I needed MESHUGGAH
Awesome podcast! Can´t wait to see them in Europe on so many festivals in 2023!
Garza is the homie. Soi is my new favorite band right now. Garza pod is the shit. Fuck yeah! 🍻
Just found this podcast and my favorite band is shadow of intent. Great pod great chill vibe, we need more metal podcasts
39:30 BEN YOU DELIVER!!!! Homie you are a bad ass!
Cant wait to see them on the 4th!
The crown jewel of Connecticut
So glad SOI made it on!! 🔥🔥🤘🤘😁😁 super awesome dudes!
I'm literally playing Halo this very moment because of the lore/story in the first 2 Shadow Of intent albums. Wanted to learn more about where the stories and lyrics came from. Thank you Shadow of Intent for being awesome! I've seen you guys live three times, twice at the Janus live in St. Pete and now recently in Tampa. Can't wait for the next tour for new merch and hopefully new music.
Great Interview!
that makes sense yall are DT fans. that part in Saurian King four minutes in is sooo dream theater. luv the new album
Love that he has a Nile shirt!! Nile is awesome!
Bryce is hilarious😂
Agree, his accent and remarks make me crack up
Love that Ben's repping Nile!
My biggest regret was missing out seeing them in 2019 with despised icon for a work function
Тhey inspired me to do great things. Thank you very much
This is my favorite one 🤘
You clearly hear the Ben death metal influences in their last album. And i like the fact they're not a Deathcore band anymore.
They were hella baked in the end, they fuckin crack me up.
This is probably the best metal podcast on youtube. I hate podcasts that's film isolated with webcams so keep bringing in bands to the studio.
May i suggest Despised Icon or a band from the OG era of deathcore. Would love to see a perspective on the scene from people who basically blew it up.
Whenever Bryce laughs i laugh and i don't know why lol
Got a ticket for 2023 show, very good dudes.
This and the Glen Benton pod was really top tier
Ben is such a BEAST on the mic
Hey Chris I saw you walk into the regent ordering some food but I was too nervous to say what's up and didnt want to bug. Just wanted say I appreciate the music and the podcast man.🤘🏽
Should of said wutz up! Next time. -GaЯza
I didnt realize how young these guys are!!! Fuck! epicness for years!!!!!
I just want to give Bryce a hug and a blunt and tell him I love him lol
Damn, almost cried when he told his story, he truly loves his job
Bro.... did you front a band called Reveries??!?!
Hell yea soi is sick glad to see this happen Garza!! 🤘🤘
Hey Sterling. Thanks for joining brother. I appreciate it. -GaЯza
@GarzaPodcast no problem brother sorry it took so long just had to get finances in line were getting there though!
Love seeing SOI getting their praise, I remember the few times we hung out, being at currents video shoot at the webster, playing shows with Ben’s old band, etc.
Now they’re one of the biggest bands on the planet. Big props
>playing shows w ben's old band
in depths and tides?
Yes, their new thing Euclid is really sick too, it’s crazy that just like SOI, all the guys he was in IDAT with were just as good. I actually played in a band with Ben’s replacement, Jake, before he joined IDAT
Shadow of Intent Instrumentals is a must listen. Check it out of you haven't!
I wonder what the process of ideas the came out through the mostly instrumental songs on the record. The songs the SOI did where absolutely amazing!
Ben is the epitome of the 2006 depressed introverted metalhead !!
Great episode! Do 1 with fit for an autopsy maybe :)
