Thank you for granting my request on Nnewi. It is my home town actually. Nnewi indigenes have played there part, we are waiting for the government to compliment our effort considering our contribution to Anambra economy. Nnewi has not really gotten its fair share of development from Anambra governments.

We need to set world class standards on road construction if not everything will remain the same. Roads that go through towns and cities must come standard with functional covered drainages and sidewalks, road markings, road signs, bus stops, proper landscaping and street lights. In addition, policies around trading, parking, loading and off-loading must be implemented on these roads. We should also take tree planting and green areas very seriously. This is 2023 and if we really want to make our mark then we have to start building projects for the future.
Major roads need to be dualised and our buildings need to be architecturally pleasing to the eye. The days of 4 corner buildings have ended. If we want to be serious then we should start building things properly. It is only when these things become the standard that we can say we have woken up. If we imbibe the culture of building world class infrastructure then it will keep going on with other governors coming in.

Absolutely! 100 hundred percent. The world is evolving AI is coming up within the next year or so. Governor Soludo promised to do things differently. I am yet to see the new innovation he promised. It does not take a rocket scientist to build road that cater to all, pedestrian and all. Road construction in most Nigerian states and cities are still constructed as was done in past 100 years. It's unacceptable. Our roads must be modern and inclusive of all road users.

@yangalife. This feature highlighted on Nnewi is very comprehensive and extensively exposed the level of negrate of the highly potential growing city by previous administrations who rather concentrated half of the road constructions within their respective towns. By my reckoning this episode on Nnewi ranks among the very best documentary and special attention henceforth should be given to the urban renewal efforts that will drastically transform our 3 major cities. So much extra hard work is needed to achieve the lofty objective of Anambra state of our dreams.

YangaLife channel thank you for fulfilling your promise on my requests for you to let us see the re/construction by the government on Nnewi roads. I am truly disappointed with what I see there in your video. Many of your fans already made useful comments regarding the level of neglect by the government on roads and infrastructural development in the place that brings so much revenues to the state. I mean, I live outside the country where individuals are taxed to their teeth by the government. The taxes are hard on the people, but the government compensates with good roads, steady electricity and a very clean environment. If Nnewi is generating so much to the state, why can't the state pay them with good roads to help it generate much more? As I commend the current governor of the state for the road works he has done in parts of the state (like Isuofia, Ekwulobia etc, and) especially in Awka and Onitsha cities, let me equally observe that he has not done well in Nnewi. You are correct in saying that he needs to reciprocate for the huge revenues he collects from Nnewi. Again, thank you and keep up the good work!

Igbo people are so ignorant of the future. They only think about now. How do you build houses to the road without thinking that tomorrow the road could be expanded.
