  • Professor Raquel Urtasun discusses how machine learning and computer vision could help make self-driving cars an affordable reality by programming cheap sensors to be smarter and more robust.
Professor Urtasun is a recognized figure in the field of computer science and has been named Canada's Research Chair in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
She is co-chief of the Creative Destruction Lab at the University of Toronto, and an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

What we approach the level of technology necessary for scalar energy we will not worry have to worry about wasting energy for a personal vehicle or G energy will be free. That we won't have to worry about self driving cars which are And death about to true freedom

Think about it you get off work you wanna go shopping and you wanna go grocery shopping as well why should you have to or other things when you get home if you don't want .How many situations Working better for a vehicle to the Work or illegal thing in order to save lives this is something a human needs to be therefore. So driving cars are the one of the worst Idea ever

My car is not bored it is happy to wait for me at all day long so you can take me where I want to when I need to get there without having the way for another car to come get me and making my life very convenient what you are talking about is the destruction and it's not a waste of resources

What she stated she is not a computer sciences she told creditors of about anything she ever says about self driving cars not know that the technology is not even close to being ready. Computer scientists in the field have already stated that it is Warriors until again to stage 3 autonomous vehicles. We are a long way off this ever happened Edit and if we could make it happen sooner it is not very desirable. Nobody wants to be the vehicle to Woodside for the period people will always want to have a vehicle they have control of what they leave and what they go and how they get there and how long they stay there and not have to wait for somebody to come pick them up and have to pay for it on top of that period only in your own vehicle is always gonna be the best bModel

Do you realize for what you want to do we're going to need to have to have multi Tara gig technology on the quantum scale of over 20000 bits ,And terabyte per 2nd Internet available everywhere .Is simply not scalable is not How could idea .You already have technology that does all this period it is call the robot and being a human being has the best computer available it's called a brain it operates at multi terrabyte speeds on a quantum computer level. .The human eyeball is 675MB up best camera is 45MB

What's again your lack of knowledge makes you qualified to make any of these DStatements .Satellites make formal Mac maker's because of cloud cover shadows for buildings tunnels bridges and tree canopies .I have actually seen satellite maps that help drive GPSU this televisual to jump over a Creek because the thought there was a road there .Or that said that there was a go trail in the woods ,A call that an interstate .
