Part 1. How to control Resolume v6 from MagicQ [Console + PC/Mac]

Part 1. In this tutorial i'll explain how you can setup connection and then control Resolume media server from MagicQ console/PC[Mac] System.
This tutorial will assume that you are running Resolume on a separate machine from the ChamSys console or separate PC/Mac system.

Great tutorial ,like always, I was messing around resolume and chamsys , the personalities are very helpful. I had already connected the resolume but with 200 dimmer channels was a mess

if i understood well, u recommend to use 2 dfft pc’s instead of 1 machine that runs both softwares to avoid delays, right? even when it is a macbook pro 2018 8gb ram? thx 4 ur reply.

I would like to to control chamsys via resolume. (the other way round!) possible?

What do you mean? Send video from resolume via chamsys - already did a separate video about it.
Trigger magicQ from Resolume? Its possible if magicQ unlocked to be triggered from external dmx/artnet or osc - so resolume can send commands and magicQ will listen and do what you assign it to do. Again, depends on what you want. Because your question is very wide for interpretation
