    Two unlocked PCs with PC Wing and USB Dongle would the whole system work? Is there any reason for the slave table to make the same movements of PB, GO, PAUSE, EXEC ... etc as the Master ... Because when there is an error the table is in exactly the same state

    • @chamsysrus
      @chamsysrus  Před 3 lety

      usb dongle? magicdmx or rack mount? if magicDMX - then it obviously won't work. Slave is doing exactly the same - all depends on your setup. if in multiconsole section, playback sync is set, Not synced, sync on swap - then it will not do the same.

    Is the "hot takeover" in "wiev I/O" window matter of newer firmware, or it was not explained? It got me into trouble while I was setting up my backup system.

      check the manual by typing hot take-over. it's not about multiconsole, it' about using another (brand) console on same universes )for example) when MQ can stop sending data whilst something else on the network.

    What about the first executer page that is mapped to the S/GO buttons of the first playpack page? Can I create a second executer page which is mapped to, for example, PlaybackPage 3 (example 1-2 light and 3 lasers)

    • @chamsysrus
      @chamsysrus  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Nope. Its intentionally limited to avoid people creating some form of replacement for wings and few other technical reasons.
      Only PB page 1 can be linked to any of first 3 exec pages (choice of which exec window to link to in in setup window)

      @@chamsysrus Okay, thanks for the quick answer, it's a shame. I had planned to use a playback page for lasers on one new MagicQ Compact Connect (Main-LightDesk would be the MQ70), it would have been good to also use S/GO buttons for the Laser-Op. However, several Executer Windows should work (so that the Laser-Op has an extra window)

      @chamsysrus  Před 3 měsíci

      that means you have an issue on network side or incompatible software versions
