Great starter turntable and they have customer support. I'm glad they improved the belt design for speed control.
To get very personal ... U-Turn Audio is based in Woburn, MA, where I lived for some years. Still have mine. Even used to changing the belt position.
Man I am loving these reviews. I subscribed for record reviews and Beatles topics but man am I staying for these. Incredible. Speaking of 60s esqe things, I'd love to see your take on two kind of related albums- Pretty. Odd. By panic at the disco and take a vacation by the young veins. Keep on going brother!
appreciate that you seem honest, and not just a shill - sets your work apart - cheers
Great video. I have been looking for something different than my sl1200s that is a little more basic as I really don't have the room or want of my coffin and mixer set in my living room.
I love your videos, I’ve been watching them for years from Mexico! I watched all of your reviews and want to get an entry level Tt.
What would you say you recommend between this U-turn, the Fluence rt82, and the Audiotechnica + the Drop? And again, Thanks for all the great content!
I've had the first gen since 2017 and love it, but the upgrades on this look phenomenal. Mine is the custom with upgraded platter, pre-amp, and needle. Biggest complaint is something the Gen 2 solves: toggling between 33 and 45 RPM. Great stuff!
I need a turntable that will connect to a receiver
Bought one. I have the version with an acrylic platter and the Ortofon cartridge. Very basic but the audio sounds very good, almost undetectable rumble or other noises. My records sound so much better than on my previous cheap turntable.
something I recommend watching
Nice channel nice review I followed you can you please review the Carbon evo project and Rega p1? Thanks
I have the original - that groove on the platter is nice. The hinge on the original is pretty bad as well, so this is nice.
This or an LP120xusb?
Could not live without lever
Could i ask you a question??
