    ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.

Myles Kennedy is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Very humble for a man who is one of the best, if not THE best, male vocalists in American rock music today. He sings with his full “mask”, hence the “twangy-ness” to his vocal styling. Very high tenor. He has that amazing ability to sing in a low range, making the earth shake, then slide up to glass breaking notes. And make it look effortless in the process. Not to mention an amazing guitarist as well. Rebecca, if you ever get the chance to meet him, do it! Extremely nice guy. Love watching your responses to the talents of others while being so very talented yourself! You rock!

Like some of the best frontman of 70s and 90s. Even went back and heard his Mayfield Four stuff and I can't believe with Kennedy's voice he didn't become established with that group. Myles is insanely talented, I think with him, he encompasses the 'dream singer' thing most of us musicians out there spend forever searching for. His ego is in check, he has the awareness to step aside and let the music flow through him, he feels every note he hits, he's stupid talented and I imagine can put his shine on anything you throw at him, personable and intelligent, reliable, dedicated, devoted to his craft. And, so versatilite! I firmly believe that's why he's got the gig with Slash. If you know much about Slash, you know he's been looking for that singer for a looooooong time. Seriously recommended listening to some of his work with Slash, on or off cam, it's incendiary!!!! ✌️💙

You've probably guessed by now but analysing rock and metal vocalists is a winning formula. It's fascinating to see what a vocalist who doesn't live and breathe that world thinks of the people who are good at it. I've been watching for a while now and I just subscribed:)

This is easily one of my favourite songs. The sheer emotion it evokes is incredible. Even more so than the vocals and lyrics, the guitar work is a thing of beauty. The solos in particular just generate that feeling of pure pain in a way that that only music can do.

It's so beautiful to see after running from my emotions for so long... Music I was always able to feel though, great to see I'm not the only one. When it comes to Rock and Roll, you won't find a band on the same level as Alter Bridge. All members are amazing musicians, Brian Marshall is an incredible bassist. Mark Tremonti is absolutely fantastic on guitar. Phillip(Flip) is amazing on drums and Myles is wonderful on guitar. Myles vocals are, in my opinion, absolutely unmatched in the scene. The emotion and power is incredible.
Recently, Words Darker Than Their Wings live with orchestra is absolutely stunning. Check it out if you can. His clean vocals in that song just render those speechless, the crowd goes wild. Worth a listen.

Myles is from my hometown of Spokane and he paid his dues before getting his big break. My buddy went to school with him and Craig Montoya the bass player from everclear. My brother went to his guitar lessons called learn to burn right next door to Dan's barber shop and Mark Morse was a great man he knew we didn't have that much money so half the time he wouldn't charge us for lessons.

You hear and feel what we heavier genre fans hear and feel. So often we heavy rock and metal lovers are misjudged by our friends, family and neighbors. It's truely awesome and inspiring that you can respond to a lovely soprano and in the next video you can feel the emotional melodic flow of a good hard heavy song and respond positively. I liked you're reactions to Tool, Corey Taylor, Nightwish, and Disturbed as well. Personally, I have recently came to enjoy the performance mix of Exit Eden. I like the bravery of genre mash ups. Some days you need the lyrics, some days you need the instruments, but on all days, what grooves you, soothes you! ❤
