Behind the Scenes of my Trip to Europe - April 2022

- In April 2022 I went to the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium to make videos for my youtube channel about battles of World War 2. I also joined a group of actors from Band of Brothers for a tour of the locations where the men of Easy Company fought in the Netherlands. This is the non-historic content I recorded during my trip.

The police in Germany have a tendency of picking Dutch-registered cars with a single person in them, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The Dutch make a lot of drugs, and the German police know that driving through Germany is a normal trafficking route.
Might be for another reason, but I’d put my money on that😅
Yeah he was told this when he posted the original video. I guess he fit the description of a drug smuggler or something.
This makes me want to go back to Europe

Crazy to realise; i've stayed in Noorbeek as well few months ago on the camping in town. The thing what is getting me is that i've had lunch just besides the hotel were you stayed. We certainlly missed each other for weeks but it is still crazy to me! I do hope this makes you want to come again, because The Netherlands has so much more to offer! Greetings from Groningen

Hey :) a little while ago I discovered your channel. Since I am studying politics in Germany and had History as one of my major subjects in school, I really like your content. As a German person coming from the Ruhr area in the near of the boarder to the Netherlands and currently living in Düsseldorf I want to help you to clear your question marks because of your meeting with the German police. As you know Amsterdam is a really "good" place for drugs, especially for weed but also for other drugs. Also the international harbor of Rotterdam is used very often to import drugs from around the world. In the areas near the boarder the German police pulls over more or less often cars that are coming from the Netherlands and especially if there is just sitting one male guy in it because they want to control of you are bringing in drugs from the Netherlands. So they wanted to control of you are a drug courier. Hope you had nevertheless a good time and are not angry or irritated by us Germans by this event :D

Those mini pancakes are poffertjes(they are supposed to be less oily)! I love them as well but they are even better with a bit of butter to dip them in and powdered sugar on top.
You can buy poffertjes specific frying pans that have those little shapes in them to make a lot of them at once.
If you ever want to feel very Dutch then buy yourself one of those pans and start making them! It's easy, bit greasy , but certainly tasty!
Also, don't worry about letting us down because you are vlogging about a topic that's very well known. We love your content because of your genuine care and respect for the subject matter.

Europe has very nice roads, idk about Belgium since I never been but most of Europe has very nice roads
@@yeetjones927 The Netherlands have basically one of the best roads and infrastructure in the world. Belgium... not so much...

Great video. But you saying the roads are nice and wide in Belgium compared to the Netherlands offended 18 million people in the Netherlands, since we always tell each other that Belgium roads as very bad compared to ours xD
Hi, Im Dutch and live close to the Germany border so somethimes i drive on german roads. They somethimes pull people of the highways that are driving wierd. Maybe that was the case in your situation.
