Why is it that it seems to get complicated in our 30's? Why at a standstill when the younger brother had already tested? Ever wonder if some aspects of our selves comes from the family culture or our DNA? Yes, quite a bit is baked into our hardware, DNA. Using what we learn to help others is a nice bonus. My mom lied and denied to the end.

Looking at the Warstone Lane Cemetery information board I saw Black Poplars mentioned and how these native trees are really rare in the UK. My wife works with a gentleman who has spent most of his life dedicating his time and money to charities, some of these charities he co-founded. He is also (what I call) the phantom poplar planter. Over the span of a few decades he has single handedly planted well over 200,000 native black poplars, mainly in Buckinghamshire. But he was also granted permission to plant some in places like St James Park and Checkers and some other noteworthy places. I wouldn't be surprised if he had something to do with these being planted in the Warstone Cemetery. I'll find out... BTW, I used to secretly call him the Lorax but my kids started repeating that so I stopped.

What's in the water in Ohio? Hopefully not those chemicals from that train accident near by. Those taste buds don't seem compatible but neither are the critical thinking skills either. If you've liked McDonald's (which we all have), then you judge it at it's best not it's worst. Any sane person would tell you it's a fast food sin to put Burger KIng, Taco Bell, Sonic, Hardee's, Subway & Poppa John's above McDonald's. How dare you sir! "HOW DARE YOU!" You don't like Pizza Hut or DQ, fine, more for me! But you don't just assume Poppa John's, Subway & Taco Bell are even on the same level, m'k. And that's right, you better not rank Whataburger if you don't even know. If you rank it harshly or say anything negative about it "I will find you! I will hunt you down like a dog! You understand me?! I said do you understand me?!" "Alright then." "I think I've said my peace." 😆

Chris, you are an amazing person. I have watched your channels for years now and tonight was the first time I watched this particular video about your search and your journey to find your biological father. I am personally into genealogy and family history even though I am not great at it. I found myself getting very emotional listening to your story. Even now I struggle to find all the words to express my appreciation to you for sharing and just my overall appreciation for you for many reasons. We love history, we love English football, we love Buddy Holly, we love good movies, and many other things. Even though I don't know you personally, I feel like I know enough about you to know that you are indeed a great husband and father. I love that even though this journey has been no doubt frustrating and painful at times, especially with how things turned out, that you still express a lot of gratitude and appreciation for all the good in your life. For all that you have been blessed with. You're a man of great character, Chris. I am a man who believes in the power of prayer and even though this video is two years old now-- I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Thank you for all the amazing work you have done and continue to do since this video. Thank you again for sharing your story and this journey.

Hmm, Hatton Garden in London would dispute the claim of England's jewellery quarter, although it is certainly the English midlands centre of jewellery making and sales, as Hatton Garden deals only in gemstones and precious metals, who regarded mere silver as near to debasement (for that colouration, they preferred platinum because it doesn't tarnish to black in a short time), and only use semi-precious stones as edgings around real gem centrepieces. But Birmingham does have its own assay office (there are seven in England, one in Ireland and two in Scotland), which uses an anchor as its mark, which certifies 92.5% purity or higher for silver, usually marked as parts-per-thousand, so it must be at least 925 but may be higher. Other parts of the hallmark indicate the year, duty stamp and optionally a maker's mark, which became compulsory in 1999, while year marks became voluntary the same year. Special commemorative marks may be used for significant years, and the King Charles III coronation mark is current until the end of 2024. There are whole books on reading hallmarks.

6:50 Chris is talking about the density of population and pandemics, here in Manchester one of the worst slum areas in the UK was the chamingly named "Angel Meadow". The local church (also called "St Michaels and All Angels") was said to have had 50,000 people buried in its church yard within approximately 50 years. The situation was so bad that the church yard was paved over by order of Queen Victoria in the 1850's and the gravestones were knocked down and they had paving stones added to completly pave the church yard over. The church was demolished in the 1930's but the graveyard had any remaining human remains removed in the early 2000 as the area was being redeveloped for new housing, but the former churchyard area still remains as a public park.

Birmingham may be the 2nd largest City in England, but the 2nd Ranking City has always been York. In Roman times it was the capital of the northern Province. This was recognised by Pope Gregory in 598 AD, when he sent Augustine to convert the English to Christ. He ruled that Archbishops Metropolitans, should be assigned to London & York to supervise the Church. However London was not available to the King of Kent at that time, & so the Primate of the south was established at his chief town of Canterbury, making that the seat of the Head of the Church in England. York did become Christian 30 years later, so an Archbishop did come to sit in that City. The rule of primacy between them was that the top man would be whichever of the 2 was appointed first would take precedence as leader of the Church in England. So the Archbishop of Canterbury should really have been the Archbishop of London, & this shows in that he always is involved in National & Royal events in the Capital, while London is left with an ordinary Bishop as if it was a small town. The Archbishop of Canterbury has his Palace at Lambeth, near Westminster.

You seem to be a very intelligent and articulate person. I don't know why your dad is behaving like he is. Maybe there's more to the story than you know. Not making excuses at all. Maybe he's upset about being lied to and deceived by your mother. I pray he changes his mind and opens his heart to let you in. Wishing you nothing, but the best.
