In this session we hit my bench press cluster sets and get a few technique tips from Joe Stanek on my new form. Thanks Marceluus and Joe for being my big bench baddie consultants over the past few weeks! I'm loving the changes we made and are working on.
Next, Joe gives us some programming tips on bench accessories, specifically weighted dips. Both Joe and Marcellus suggested incorporating dips into your program so we dove into this lift for a big bench. Excited to work these in more in my program.

I LOVE benching! I tried using the setup Marcellus taught in the last video and I hit 10 lbs above my previous max for a triple! I'm looking pretty hyped up to start a bench peaking cycle.
The bench is by far my favorite lift!! I always love hearing little tips on how to make it better and better.
Learning to reset between deadlift reps with the best thing could have done for myself. No more injuries.
I have not tried barbell bench press yet. The most i have done a dumbbell press is 22.5lbs each. And thats pretty heavy for me still. But i started at 10lbs so i am progressing, slowly but surely! I am only 120lbs by the way. I was 103lbs when i started my lifting journey and that was 3 years ago!!!!
Me too! I am working on my eating and putting weight on both the bar and me. I started lifting with a 3# dumbbells and struggled but now up to 55 two years later. You can do it!

Thanks to this video I got the courage to try weighted dips and did 2 sets of 4 with 5 kg on the belt. 💪 oh and I benched 60 kg which is a new PR for me. Love your inspiring content.

Do you have an in-depth video on the arch form for benching? Like talking about it and how to get into it? I would like to learn more.
I should probably start using hashtags on my videos again. But, I'm also new to weight lifting (coming up on a year in July). But, I love bench pressing. It's really cool to lift heavy things with more than just my butt 🍑

Not everyone’s back does that. I have an extra vertebrae in my back that is fused, and there is no way my back can do that.😂

Let’s take advice from a dude with literally no chest.
The growth/ strength of muscles is scientific. So it doesn't actually matter how he looks. He has the knowledge. He seems to still be strong if he's benching 374lbs. He also just mentioned he's a teacher/ coach.
@@MissG8787 anyone can be strong by lifting heavy weight. Strength doesn’t equal a good chest
@@BlackrainOrdinance agreed but I'm just saying he has knowledge his appearance doesn't take away from that.
