- In this episode, Stryker welcomes Palaye Royale to the Tuna on Toast studio. Emerson, Sebastian and Remington discuss all things past, present and future including revealing for the first time, the name of their upcoming 4th album, Fever Dream .
In this interview with Stryker, Palaye Royale talk about fighting amongst themselves, what lead to it, and how they have resolved the tension.
The guys talk about playing early shows with Stone Sour and touring non stop city to city for very little money with no team behind them helping.
Producer Chris Greatti has been extremely important in all ways.
The band also talks about what a tough decision it was to cancel their huge European tour, and instead tour with Yungblud (Holy cow this tour will be awesome). Palaye Royale tell a great story about meeting Yungblud for the first time on Warped Tour and how he as a frontman influenced them.
Remington tells the story of Dave Grohl approaching him after a performance and how much that meant to him.
Stryker and Palaye Royale chat about how great and important their fans are. And...how influential bands like Jet, Panic! At the Disco, Hanson, and INXS were for them in many different ways. Palaye Royale also discuss their time under the Disney umbrella and what they learned all those years ago.

A message from Belgium: tell Emerson that he is not alone with his night phenomenon, this woman on the other side of the planet does the same, I go to sleep around 8 in the morning too, and exactly for the same reason, I prefer to be awake when people are asleep and all the "noise" is muffled, because they are in another world, owned by Morpheus.

I'm the same honestly with Emerson. I struggle with night terrors, sleep paralysis and hallucinations when I try to sleep. I've developed having peace while awake in those hours everyones asleep or whatever, I can draw and have that time of quiet to enter my world and develop things from the inside. I draw a lot, i'm a drummer, very anti-people and phobic of people. I like a bit of social time and fun, but I like to retreat to 'my time' of night and just create. would love to sit down with Emerson and doodle, create and listen to the ideas and stories. When I do sleep, its best never wake a sleeping percussionist...we're armed with sticks or pencils.

I love how were only 3:31 minutes in to the interview and we already got some Emerson philosophy 💖💖.
I first found Palaye Royale while walking out of Warped Tour in 2016. Never heard them play, but was taken by their presence immediately. I didn’t have enough money to buy their CD, but they let me have one for a few dollars less and were super nice. Fast forward a few months, I saw them live at the Agora in Cleveland with William Control and they were incredibly nice and talked to me for quite a long time, gave me a drumstick, etc. I’ll NEVER forget that. As well, their performance was INSANE. They were preforming to like 30 people but it seemed like they were preforming for the whole world to see. I’ve seen them many times live and they never disappoint in performance as well as gratitude. They will really go meet every single fan, and they actually remembered me throughout the years. They truly give every fiber of their being to the fans, and they deserve all the success in the world.

Watched the full interview. It is incredible how far these guys have come from sleeping in their mom's van to selling out concerts. I agree with Emerson's statement that it is difficult to interact with people after being isolated from others for 2 years. Sebastian is definitely the glue that holds this band together. Without him nothing productive would get done. 😂 In the only two years that I've been a fan, I am constantly impressed by Remington's showmanship. He electrifies the stage like no other frontman I've seen. This band is innovative with their "Palaye Royale brand" and always thinking about what they can do for their fans that no one else is doing, and from what I've seen from videos they put on incredible live shows. And most importantly, these guys don't have the douchebag rockstar attitudes. Palaye Royale are always nice when they interact with their fans online. (Can't speak about in person because I've never seen them live.) Excellent interview. 👏❤🖤

A wonderful interview from Ted Stryker with the incredible Palaye Royale. I love the passion this band has for everything they do and everything they create. They are one of the most accommodating and friendliest bands you could ever meet, and they always put on a spectacular Rock show. Their genuine love, respect, appreciation and special connection, they have with each and every one of their amazing Royal Council family (fans) is beyond what any other band has with their fan base. They love their Royal Council Family dearly and the Royal Council love them too. They are all incredibly talented, hard working and deserve all the success that comes to them. After listening to the first three singles from their new, soon to be released album “Fever Dream” I am super excited to hear more, and I know this record is definitely going to be one of those special records that will instantly steal my heart ♥️

hahah when he says your brave when going into the pacific ocean, its warm in califronia compared to the oregon coast, i live in portland oregon, and most summers we will stay at the beach, i love the beaches here, when the weather is hot and nice our beaches can be great, its cold but its really nice when the weathers like 99, the last few years we have had tripple digit weather, yes it can rain a lot but the last few summers have been nice along the coast, i love the beach

Striker you should see if the artists would let you play some of their music clips and add a little montage for your interviews. Just an idea. Love the show!
it's a great idea, the problem I am finding is that even if the artists say yes, there are other hoops to jump through to get full clearance. But just know, may ultimate show would be to play clips and talk about certain segments of songs and albums to go along with band history, present, and band future. Me gusta que se tomaran el tiempo de contar lo que ocurrió detrás de los cambios de fechas, me dolió ver cómo recibieron tanto odio esos días. Ojalá y los fans se tomaran un minuto para comprender que nada es tan fácil como "querer algo" y se disculparan con ellos por las cosas horribles que dijeron, pero claro, eso no pasa nunca.
El problema es que los fans los idelizan al final son humanos y vieron una oportunidad más grande al irse de gira con yungblud y prefirieron cancelar sus otros shows, obvio los fans tienen derecho a estar molestos pero todo el hate ya fue muy exagerado

I think that this whole fighting between 2029 and 2020 was the hardest for Emerson, I mean it was hard for others too but Emerson is an extreme introvert and he doesn't like people, Remi and Seb are the most important people in his live and he loves them so much, his two big brothers, so it had to be hard watching them arguing and getting into fights
