I do like Steve's Leaves, they have a good selection, and I love that they give you plant tags. Many sellers don't which I feel is wrong. If you placed a large order, you have to go through, get plant markers and look up what you placed so ya don't forget the name. Just good customer service ☺️
I'm so happy about your begonia interest. I'm a begonia person too. When youbstarted your channel I had about the same amount of houseplants as you, maybe one or two hundred so I just feel a bit of kindred plant spirit with you. I obviously dont have a channel but it's been fun watching you grow :)

If you really like begonias, you should try Begonia pavonina ( peacock begonia ). It has iridescent blue foliage.

I recently got into houseplants after discovering low light options. I only have one window in my apartment that gets enough light to keep snake plants and zz plants alive and thriving. I'm open to other low light houseplant options, it's nice to have green inside

I have noticed that you have similar taste to myself in plants. I love peperomia. I have a nova like you and I also love plants that resemble weeds, just that messy look. I grew up in the city and I adored every little weed that grew up from the cracks in the concrete. I always felt fascinated that life finds a way in the smallest of places and where it seems impossible. Anyway...Steve's Leaves is awesome. Hi Nick! Those are some beautiful plants that Steve's Leaves sent to you. I especially like the Mikania ternata, Rhipsalis baccifera ssp. horrida and, of course, Syngonium podophyllum albo-variegatum "Marble". I'm considering getting the first 2, but definitely can't afford the syngonium. ;-) I've never checked out TikTok, but I did look at your TikTok video, but the audio was all over the place. The Pink Philodendron is beautiful, but again, can't afford one. Thank you so much for sharing!

Fun plant unboxing
My east facing kitchen window is the happy place for every plant I own. The side with a screen is perfect for lower light plants. They get happy, start growing immediately, then spread to other places
I do have a magic spot, my kitchen window. I can put any struggling plant there and have it be huge and crazy in a couple of months. It is the permanent home of my money tree, who is now almost 6 feet tall. ❤️
man i wish i could just get plants for free like you lol, but i could never make content all the time so i guess I'm just gonna have to buy them with my own money lol.

I have not seen a Mikania in, well, decades. You are going to love it, especially when grown as a basket plant. A suggestion if you are looking for a begonia is B. venosa, as it has rigid very fuzzy leaves that make them look gray with an upright growing habit and it requires very bright light and kept drier than other begonias. It would make a nice addition to a succulent collection.

I got my Mikana ternata from Steve's as well, about 4 months ago. It grows quite fast I've found. At my previous house, I grew it in a south facing window (I live in TN for reference) shaded w a sheer curtain. Now it's growing in an unshaded East window and seems to be doing as well. Watering is really key for this one. Kind of like a begonia, it doesnt want to dry but will not tolerate soggy soil. Also, don't get the leaves wet! It's relate to African violets and will discolor if you do.

I grow this...bright indirect light, high humidity, and it will definitely die if it dries out. I grow in a large terrarium.

it is Hoya MA-TILD, you can forget the H when pronouncing it, it is very simple. I know it because it is a common girl 's surname here in France (from German origin and in other countries also with an A at the end). Actually my real life surname is Clothilde which is from the same origin as Brunhilde also ......
Just a warning. If you do a plant auction on Steve's Leaves they will increase the time on an auction even after you receive a notice that you have won the auction. I was told it was so more people can participate, but by extending the time limit, after it has officially ended, they are able to make more money. If you don't mind winning, and then being forced to pay more to win again, then their auctions are the ones for you. Just a warning for anyone that might want to try to min a plant on their auction. With that in mind...i do like their plants that I have ordered in the past.
