I always leave my Christmas tree and decorations until Jan 6th and take it down on the Jan 7th. I was born in Europe so that's how my parents did it. The 3 wise men only reached the baby Jesus on Jan 6th with the gifts so it's considered the Christmas season. Enjoy your decor as long as it makes you and your kids happy.🦋

I'm about to put on your entire Sunday reset playlist to catch up with my home! This video only lasted through cleaning my main bathroom. 🤣 I'm heavily pregnant with #5 and have 4 under 7yo at home (we homeschool), so things are definitely chaotic! So grateful for the motivation! 🦋

I have already started taking my decorations down. Just ready for my house to be back to normal. I don’t envy people that have to clean up/organize all of the kids toys. That would be overwhelming for me. My niece and her husband took their two girls to Disney the morning after Christmas so they had to clean the house and organize the toys on Christmas night. They didn’t want to come home to that task. Happy New Year!!! 🦋

I take down all my Christmas decorations and tree day after..I put it up Nov 1st so I've always done it this way..Glad you all had a wonderful Christmas..

I always keep my Christmas tree up until around mid January! We love it so much and it’s still winter and it makes the house feel so cozy! lol
I feel the same about my Christmas decorations this year. I am thinking of leaving my winter stuff out and changing my tree into a valentines tree. I did it one year and I loved it. Having all the decorations up helps me also through the yucky winter months . I suffer with seasonal anxiety disorder and this time of year is rough.

🦋 I took my Christmas down today and got the house all clean. It feels so good and cozy, my fireplace is going a candle burning, and soft music playing! Trying to decompress! We are traveling 3 hours away to see family tomorrow and will be home on Monday. I wanted to get it all done so we come home to a clean house. ❤

I put all the Christmas stuff away the day after Christmas. By the time Christmas gets here, I'm so ready to have my house back----and I'm always surprised at how much bigger the house looks when I'm done. Yours looks great---keep it up as long as you want!🦋
Love your getting things together video and so glad you all had a great Christmas. Mine was a little bittersweet. My grandson and his girlfriend were gonna be having a little girl in February, her name was gonna be Maddison. They lost her at 17 weeks on October 3rd this year to what the doctor called a catastrophic cord event. I and we all missed getting to buy things for her for when she would be born. Then on Christmas Eve he asked her to marry him and they are on the top of the world. It took him a year to get up the nerve, LOL. Thank you for the cleaning motivation you give us and being such a great Mom to your babies, Hope 2024 is the most awesome year for you all.
I took everything down yesterday just have to move a large piece of furniture that will have to wait until I have some help to move it. I like taking this week to purge and organize around the house and start the new year with a clean sparkling house.
I always hate taking Christmas decorations down. I usually take them down New Year's Day and put winter decorations up in kitchen only. Girl I'm like you feel guilty when I go to bed sometimes with house not picked up. I have always been that way even when we leave on vacation. The house has to be nice and clean before we

🦋My husband and I were sick the week before Christmas until just recently have we started feeling better so I did take our tree down cause it was not the greatest Christmas, not being able to be with friends or family. My mom used to make a boxed cake mix with leftover candy. She only used soft candy like chocolate or even m&ms. She put all the candy in the food processor to make it small, then added it to the cake batter. Comes out great! 🦋

🦋 🦋 Hey Kelly, love your motivational video today. It was desperately needed😂. You are making your house a home, and it looks so great! We make our iced tea too. You may want to try making a simple syrup. 1:1 one cup sugar one cup water, heat to boil and turn off. I add it to our tea and we get no sugar granules floating about or settling to the bottom.😊

🦋 I took my inside Christmas decor down Christmas Day, the tree and outside decorations came down the next day. I needed the house back to “normal”. It’s always nice to have it nice and cleaned.

🦋 this was very motivating and got me up and cleaning in my kitchen, getting my special holiday platters and dishes put away nicely for next year. I also got my sink cleaned and counters wiped down. My kids are all adults so I no longer have the Christmas aftermath to clean up 😂
We usually take our tree down in New Year’s Day. You do whatever feels right for your family, like you said it’s your first Christmas in your new home. I am so happy for you and your kids and especially your oldest son having his own room that he wanted. Just a tip about the tea it can be made without boiling. If you add your bags & water, it can sit about 2 hours at room temp to steep. It's the same as making cold brew coffee but with less steep time.🦋

Absolutely loved this! 🦋 I was able to get my home reset in the evening Christmas Day. I organized my boys toys the 26th and took down all my decorations and tree the 27th. I love going into the new year with a clean slate. Today I’m trying to relax but as we all know, the messes never stop when you have kiddos! I left my tree up for a day after Christmas and then it came down… I’m not big into the decorations and my house is small so the tree comes down asap. I can say, I am glad my kids are out of the toy stage… they have their own things now but I don’t miss the toy clutter at all! Great motivation and you’re house is beautiful! 💜🦋
