Yeah most DPRK movies are total propaganda bullshit but i still enjoy your content non the less. Please don't rush yourself mate, These movies also make me feel absolutely gob smacked that this government is willing to pump their own peoples heads with all these lies. Stay safe and good health to your family and friends.
I might subscribe to this channel. Really interesting aspects of North Korea that rarely gets mentioned in the west. It's not sensationalist but it isn't full on tankie either on here.
Wow, never heard of this story. I was about to remark upon how many unsolved murder cases come from Korea with this and the Hwaseong murders, but as I was googling the name of that case, since I had long forgotten it, I found out they actually solved it last year. Now the ending of Memories of Murder is gonna be a bit less impactful, isn't it? Speaking of which, in that movie cops were also shown very incompetent. Maybe police is just really this bad in South Korea.
Yeah that case was finally solved only recently. Too many people are influenced by K-Dramas into thinking that Korea is this utopia; whereas in reality if you come from a wealthy family you can quite literally get away with murder.
Any thoughts about why the captain would tell them to stay in their cabins though?? I can understand if he was simply just a coward who wanted to save himself first, but I can't understand why he'd order them to basically ensure their own death rather than just leave them to be. And why did the rescue take so long and they refused help from the USA and Japan?
@@loulou3676 Probably because he panicked and didn’t know what to do. When self-preservation kicks in, people are well known to make contradictory and irrational decisions. ROK wouldn’t ask for help from Japan for obvious reasons. It was probably out of a sense of independence that they didn’t ask for help from the US as well. Park Geun-Hye’s administration was corrupt, but that doesn’t mean it was a conspiracy. Bureaucracy and flagrant disregard for the most basic maritime safety protocols killed those kids, not a conspiracy.
An hunting incident like the theorie explained in the video happened near where I live a year ago or something. A father was hunting in a range with his 4 year old son when a lost bullet from other hunter hit the child in the head. In the region where I live this accidents are relatively common. I think that this could happened in this case, maybe the police lost the shotgun papers because incompetence or even corruption or maybe it's a rare case of unregistered gun. I find weird that a group of NK special forces would use a double barrel shotgun used a lot in sport hunting, maybe other kind of shotgun but a double one looks non-practical for me, maybe if we know the weapons they used in other infiltrations could help to confirm that theory. Maybe you can talk about other North Korean mysteries like the 1979 school incident in Ryanggang or the 1983 Chosonminhang crash without explanation, the 1991 Kanggye tragedy or the 2004 Ryongchon disaster.
It was never confirmed to have been a Double Barreled Shotgun, that’s just what was suggested given the two round capacity. I’d be happy to review those as well!
i love it when you upload but i have only found you channel last week and I've watched nearly all of your videos.
Well thank you :) I appreciate the support!
Well your such a nice and interesting guy so I'll easily give support when i can and I'm also looking forward to seeing your next movie review.
@@mrscottishguy4612 It's coming. I just needed a break from the rot these films give my brain lol.

Eddie H This channel will never be political for as long as I am running it.
@@NorthKoreaUncovered Well consider this as a compliment for keeping it as apolitical as you can with a topic like North Korea. Subscribed. :)
Great channel! Thanks for the awesome content.
manwiththem9 Thank you!
Exquisite!

@@NorthKoreaUncovered Unfortunately, I think this is the case in most countries.
Would you consider doing a video about the Sewol sinking theories? There is too much wrong with that one, I can't believe it wasn't intentional...
I am not a conspiracy theorist.

I hate the scary music it’s just so scary
I love a good north korea channel where I don't have to worry about getting indoctrinated. 😀 고맙습니다, 조선 영화 리뷰!
