''one hour before the trip', a project that features musicians, engineers and visual artists, tries to combine the "indy" - as in independence - mentality and musical approach with the technical self-sufficiency in terms of equipment, facilities and manpower, that members of the project consider a vital prerequisite for the term "independence" to have any essential meaning. In an effort to be consistent with that concept, 'one hour before the trip' had built their own recording and rehearsal studio, following the "room in a room" trend in sound engineering, and have been trying to equip it adequately ever since. Furthermore, the band itself, took the initiative in trying to establish certain relationships with certain people - ranging from those with technical background and experience as engineers, to others with their own similar artistic visions and demands - and made an effort to invite and provocate them into playing an active role in the development of the project. Following our #1 release, we are delighted to announce the release of our #2 album . After more than a year of recording, mixing and mastering - and learning a lot in the process -, making mistakes and finding solutions, we want to thank all those who helped to make this release possible. The whole crew, musicians and technicians alike, have evolved and discovered more things about music and why it makes us happy through the recording experience and hope to share those feelings on stage.''

This is Post-Rock music, you guys can also check other bands of this genre if you like it, one my favourite is "God is an Astronaut" (a little bit sad though). For something more engaged (and maybe a little bit political), I advise "Godspeed Black Emperor!". The last band that i would also recommend is "Explosions in the Sky". Btw, all these bands have a good reputation. Enjoy your post-rock experience !
