Because it’s not in the setup shown anymore, so it wouldn’t give the right number. If someone wants to build a setup just like what’s shown in this video, they wouldn’t be paying the money for the fish that’s not in there anymore.
The cheapest I have seen is a few hundred bucks for nano tanks under 8 gallons often with the focus on zoas or flower nems and a single goby or cleaner shrimp.
AF products are very cheap in your country, here are like 30 dollars each, you forgot tu add the cost of the salt and ro/di water , you should do another video about the cost of maintaining the tank, electricity, salt, water, etc.
I did mention the cost of the 10 gallons of saltwater I added. However I could do a video in the future like you mentioned and inform people about the cost of maintaining my tank. Thanks! ;-)

Aren't you doing weekly water changes ? You only mention paying 10$ for water once lol. When you pay for a fish, and it dies, it's weird not to include it in the total cost. Because mistakes are part of the hobby. You don't mention the cost of your heater, or the fish's food.

It's official, legit never gonna be able to get a reef tank 😂 even having to get RODI, or even like £300 lighting just so it can look good. Saltwater is the EA of the aquarium hobby.
@@DannysAquariums Either way I'm sticking to plants, saltwater's probably one of the most interesting hobbies I've ever found and love the science aspect to it all, hence why I love your content among others. But i think the closest store for saltwater stuff is around 3 hours drive away on top of it all so getting water would just be a hassle 😂
I thought I had the flatworm population under control, so the fish moved to someone else tank. Unfortunately the flatworms are growing in numbers again, so I'll have to find a different solution.
