The biggest trend in guitars in recent years in 'high end made in China/Indonesia'. Catches a lot of people out if they think these countries are just for cheap'n'cheerful instruments. If it's about the sound and not the 'brand romance' there's very little reason to pay insane money just to get a good guitar these days.
A very sympathetic video .. and such a beautiful guitar! The sound is great and complex - really love it. Thx Wolfgang, for this lovely performance : )
Amazing guitars - perhaps the very best price to quality ratio instruments on the market - I own an Eastman AR 503 CE and it is exceptional - it has a hand carved spruce top with laminated maple back and sides - the pick guard, tail piece and bridge are ebony, as is the fretboard - I actually bought it from an excellent guitar shop without playing it / seeing it ( in person ) - I have played a lot of Eastman guitars and have never picked up any that weren't beautifully made or set up so I was confident it would be perfect after viewing several high quality photographs - Eastman's attention to detail is extraordinary, especially at the price - the shop in question " price matched " for me so I got an amazing deal and the service was exemplary - anyone looking for a premium quality arch top guitar need look no further than an Eastman - do not be put off by the " made in China " tag - the luthiers are brilliant - I will be, hopefully, purchasing their T 486 B very soon ( a 335 type guitar with Bigsby ) another stunning guitar in the Eastman range.
I would recommend the next level of this company, I don´t remember the number but it costs only a little more and is a much better instrument. This one is fine, no question, but if you have the chance and try the next in line, compare them and maybe you can afford it, I had one in my hands and it was even better, but I already bought this one.
I love Eastman's. have 2. Semi and Archtop and love them. Nice review altho it would be better to play first and talk later. You have to get through 9 minutes of gabbing until he actually starts playing. Annoying.

Beautiful playing Wolfgang, and a lovely sound - sweet, subtle delay on an arch top sounds lovely.

Developed a passing interest in Eastman guitars and this video was helpful.
Really enjoyed this video Wolfgang, thank you
Talk all you want to, you play wonderfully!
Beautiful guitar.
Nice demo Wolfgang.I’m leaning towards the same model.

I personally love the talking at the beginning :)
The Gibson ES-175 has a laminated top.
Great review! - the transparent pick must be a nightmare to find if you drop it on stage :-D
the V-picks stick to your skin, when they are warm, so I never drop one. And in case I do I have some in reserve on my amp:-)
Holy wow. 12:05 of taking before you started playing. It was great playing though
Great education. Thank you
very goodvideo. you say many thngs just right....thanks ;-)
Now in France we can find this model not under 1,099.00€. :'( But still sound great!
Wolfgang, can you get FARIDA guitars near you? Let me know.
+shecky308 never heard about them, can you give me a link?
Ich würde gerne so toll spielen, aber ich glaube ich kann nicht so doof gucken. Was soll ich tun?
du kannst nichts tun, wenn das Gucken nicht passt, wirds mit dem spielen auch nichts :-)

that´s the kind of critic that helps, thank you
Actually, I like the story and conversation at the start - It's like I'm actually there ... it's easy to skip ahead if necessary.
ok, next time I do the playing first:-)
Clearly, this man has no wife.
sorry I have a wife, the same for 23 years and she is a flute player, makes it easy when both make music:-)
