Baldur's Gate 3 Honour Mode Solo | Malus Thorm | Sorcerer Warlock | No Hit Timestamp: 00:00 Start 00:35 Prebuffing 1:31 Fight 5:35 Gear Patch # 16 now has a bug where you can't appear to toggle repelling blast off, which might lead to issues. Until this bug is fixed, I choose to respec my warlock to Devil's Eyes. I have to change my approach to Act 2 because this problem might be harmful to a solo honor mode run.
I assume you use Magic Missiles as first hit on each target to trigger reverberation to make them prone right? I am trying to study your videos, to learn and understand the mechanics for a potential solo campaign for me.
Magic Missiles are a great way to cause the prone condition, as Carlos pointed out in the comment. These missiles are quite good at removing their Legendary resistance and cause several reverberations, which greatly increases the likelihood to prone them. It's also a fantastic method to accumulate lightning charges.
Can i find your build somewhere? Also would you say it's better to go for 2 lvls in fighter for action surge if playing with a party of 4 or still go thief for sorlock?
A few excellent guides on Sorcerer Warlock should exist; these might include guides made from Sintee. Once I'm done with my playthrough, I do have plans to eventually start publishing guides. I really prefer subclassing into thief for a solo Honour mode run at level 9, since the persuasion and sleight of hand proficiency make the game a lot easier. As a sorcerer Warlock, your primary piece of armor in the midgame to endgame is Potent Robe because it offers so much more to the class. As a result, the armor proficiency you gain from the fighter subclass becomes unnecessary. Moreover, Action Surge may only be used once during a short rest, while Quickened Spell + "Fast Hands" from the Thief is available to you at all times. Normally, I'll take the Fighter subclass in the endgame because of action surge, and + 1 AC but during the midgame, I believe that the Thief subclass is simply just too amazing to pass.
@@Kukutiel40411 thnx a lot man i'll keep that in mind and yeah ik about potent robe and cuz of that i never thought fighter is getting picked for armor proficiency knew it was for action surge and tbh 3 in rogue sounds better than 2 in fighter plus everything else, at least you can get 2 feats like that. P.s. ik about sintees guides, glad you've suggested it cuz they're awesome

Yep, level 1 magic missile knocks prone, Eldritch blast would take two casts

Malus: So when I have the chance to attack?
This guy: That's the neat part, you don't

Oof that is way too much for me. I could never keep all this straight.
Once you've done your first solo run in BG 3 it gets easier :)
