We need to know what the hell Basilashvili said to Cuevas to calm him down so quickly. That man should get the tennis Nobel Peace Prize.
I think he needed someone to at least say anything at all to him. None of his own partners said nothing to him, and the fact that it was the rival who finally did maybe convinced him beyond what he said.
Probably something along the lines of âbro youâre honestly playing really nice and could win this match, letâs keep going get our moneys worthâ

Why do Tennis rules allow players to abuse the umpires like that? In other popular sports, like soccer and basketball, the player would be sent home after doing only 10% of that bullshit. Yes, I understand that if you send a player home in tennis it means the game is over, but that's why if players would be kicked out for that kind of stuff, they won't do it nearly as much. Plus, it's funny: in tennis, the fans have to stay quiet or else security kicks them out, while the players can yell like crazy at the umpire and all they get is a slap on the wrist.
The umpires in the kachanov and ivashka ones were so unfair
Med hitting the ump chair is not that far off from Zverevâs recent issue.
