You can even mix portuguese and Spanish words in a sentence (we call it portuñol) and speakers of both languages will understand most of what you say. It's so similar that many foreigners that come to live in Portugal start by learning some Spanish (which is easier to learn) and then slowly transition to portuguese

      Denis in not Canadian. He is Russian (his father is Russian also his mother who is of Jewish-Russian descent) that's why he attends Russian Orthodox Church. His first language is Russian too. Russian Federation did not want him to play for Russia, that's why he plays for Canada.

    Why do Tennis rules allow players to abuse the umpires like that? In other popular sports, like soccer and basketball, the player would be sent home after doing only 10% of that bullshit. Yes, I understand that if you send a player home in tennis it means the game is over, but that's why if players would be kicked out for that kind of stuff, they won't do it nearly as much. Plus, it's funny: in tennis, the fans have to stay quiet or else security kicks them out, while the players can yell like crazy at the umpire and all they get is a slap on the wrist.
