10 Garments 30 Outfits - A Spring Capsule Wardrobe

- Hello and welcome to today’s CZcams episode. For today’s episode I have chosen ten me made items from my wardrobe and I have made over thirty different outfits using these garments.
The ten garments I have chosen for this episode are:
1. @FridayPatternCompany - Wildergown in a Liberty floral print.
2. Maura makes stuff - / mauramakesstuff - Acai Top crocheted in the We Are Knitters Pima Cotton
3. New Craft House - Everyday Waistcoat this one is reversable the embroidery side is from a tablecloth that my Great Grandmother embroidered, and the other side is a navy corduroy fabric.
4. Papercut Patterns - Juno Jacket this one is made from linen fabric from @SewMeSunshine
5. New Craft House - Everyday Top made in gingham linen fabric from We are the Fabric Store.
6. Papercut Patterns - Solar Tee made from Tencel jersey from The Good Fabric Store.
7. Nina Lee - Bakerloo Bouse made from cotton fabric with a white background and small blue flowers from New Craft House.
8. Friday Pattern Company - Salt Water Slip made from black and white floral viscose.
9. @mademywardrobe5615 - Greta Dungarees made from 11oz denim that I bought from the Made my Wardrobe fabric shop.
10. @MeganNielsenPatterns Ash Jeans made from stretch denim.

What an amazing set of garments that work together! My favourite is the Wilder gown with the crochet top, followed closely by the everyday top and jeans. Such professional, beautifully made garments. Gorgeous!

Great idea to show all the different combo's. I really like the wilder gown, with the Acai top, and the Juno jacket looks great with so many of the other pieces.

All outfits are beautiful individually, but I love how you styled them all together, a great capsule wardrobe! I think my favourite was the Greta dungarees with the everyday blouse xx

17 the new craft house gingham top and jeans and 21 the knit top and jeans are my favourites!

Beautiful garments.I love the patterns and fabric choices. It would have been nice in the beginning to see the design of the patterns you had made. I love your dungarees they are the best design and fit I have seen.The wilder gown in the Liberty fabric falls so beautifully.

Love your makes and a brilliant idea for a video. Especially for me made May. Your waistcoat is beautiful. So special ❤. I have some lovely embroidered tablecloths that were made for my parents as a wedding present. They are sadly not with us any longer but your ideas for the top and waistcoat make me want to include them in an outfit. I would be terrified of eating in a garment made with them though as also white like your waistcoat.
Thank you so much, it took a long time and a lot of courage to make the waistcoat from something so special! But I am so pleased I did. I am sure you will make the right decision regarding your special table cloths. I know it was a decision that I didn't take lightly and one that I planned very carefully.

Thank you for your comment Alison! The crochet top was a challenge for me as I had only really done granny squares before. But there were some really good online tutorials I followed to help with techniques! So that really helped and once i got the hang of the techniques it was okay! I am pleased you liked this format I would love to do this again for different seasons!

What are your tips to have a cohesive wardrobe? I love how you can interchange everything but can't seem to get their myself. Maybe a good video idea :)
Thank you so much for your comment, I think the key to this clip was closing a few statement garments and a few basics eg. jeans/t-shirt/jacket. Also I think the colour pallet helped too. This is something I usually find hard too. So it was a good challenge for me. I learned so much from doing this and it was fun too! Give it a go and see how you get on!
