Were you late for something when you were doing the very end of this video?
Great review! Enjoyed it
Well, thank you!
thank you for the review!
Gracias!
I got the Rollei 35s camera and I paid £26.00 for it second hand and it got original camera case and strap and front lens filter and lens cap as well
For a camera with roughly the same lens performance in a smaller package, the Rollei 35 gives a lot more options/flexibility than the olympus trip 35. It does depend what mood takes you, 'no fuss' shooting or fiddling with exposure and focus settings.
I just found a Singapore 35 (not LED!, that broke far too quickly and had crappy triotar lens) for only £30 second hand. Just need to fix the frame counter :)
I always miss the bulb setting, for dark days/nights :)
David Curry I did another review for the Trip 35 and it wasn't very natural for me. I didn't get to shoot with this but it sounds fun. Singapore 35? Never heard of that one.

By Singapore I mean exactly the one you have here, made after they shifted production to Singapore but before they started doing special editions and adding letters to identify lens type/deluxe/budget versions (B35, C35, 35T, 35S, SE, LED etc).
I was slow to start with the Trip35, admittedly bulky and simplistic. It has grown on me, just using 'A' setting, never attempting to change f-Numbers etc. I love it as a back up camera for holidays when most of the time I lug around a medium format.

You didn't get to shoot with rollei? It's great! The main issue for me is focusing. I use "an arm and hand" length to measure a meter close up ;)
how many shoots do you make before taking pictures when you insert new film?
Two shoots like in the video?
yo dude!! great video!! cool if i snag a couple clips for my video about affordable 35mm cameras? ill be sure to credit you in the video + desc!
Sure, thanks for asking. I prefer on screen credit if possible.
hey do u need to actually pull out the lens and then twist it in order to advance the lever and then fire the shutter because some guy is selling me one for 30$ and it's in mint condition with a lot of other things with it but when I went to see it I couldn't figure out if the advance Leaver was stuck or not.
+carp fever at $30 it's worth it broken. You have to pull out the lens to shoot it.
Did you buy it
Where is the battery?
Top of the film canister side where it shows the battery type. Use a coin to loosen it.
is rewinding the film supposed to be so tough even after flipping the rewind lever? i feel like i'm going to break the film every time i rewind it lol
Had the same feeling, it’s a bit tighter than other cameras. Luckily it’s all metal from what I remember. May want to oil the gears and see if that helps.
HELLLLPPPPPPP! My Rollei 35 won’t wind the film :( I made sure the lens is pulled and locked and it still won’t wind the film. Is there any way to fix this? Anyones help is appreciated :(
Love the review. Nothing about this camera is intuitive lol. I bought one on eBay and it is going right back up hahahah. Thanks for the great video!
i can't tell if im focusing when i see through the viewer while rotating the lens, it makes no difference. that is normal?
Yeah it's not a rangefinder, one of the downsides of this camera.
Manuel Puente you need to compose your shots in your mind. The camera is the tool
You just estimate distance. Once you start doing it, you'll find it gets easier
Where's the battery?
Reuben Zuazua above where you put the film
