Absolutely. It's my favourite Mistborn book (although TFE is basically tied with it). I didn't find the politics boring and the Sanderlanche is one of the best in the Cosmere.
Just finished Mistborn Era 1 and Secret History today!! And man was it just perfect. Not sure whether to go straight into Stormlight next, or maybe read Elantris instead as a stopgap. Thoughts?
Oh awesome! I mean, Era 2 almost feels like a break itself haha. It’s SOOO different but so fun! If you’ve read Warbreaker, I’d say do Elantris (just to knock that off the list) and then go into Era 2 or Stormlight (whichever sounds more interesting). Era 2 are fast paced “popcorn” books. Stormlight are slow burn but epic payoff books. Also, if you’re interested in the Cosmere connections, Elantris & White Sand both become more necessary as you reach the further end of both series. Not sure if that’s helpful or not, but for me that’s a huge selling point of the Cosmere.

Oh dang, the Secret Projects above Stormlight is bold! But if that’s what you connected with, that’s awesome! Plus, like I said, I started with Way of Kings so I’m a TAD biased 😅
I know I know! I said it might be controversial, but just how I felt going through it. I honestly think I’m gonna love it more on a re-read but will have to wait and see. Plan on re-reading Era 1 ahead of Era 3 in like 5 years 😅

@@TheSandbox_OfficialIm with you and is Go even further. I hated the book and lost all interest in the characters. The ending is so overrated aswell.
