Ikr they are too real for the industry very authentic it's ashame they didn't get the proper recognition they most definitely deserved!!!💪💪
As someone who's from the Netherlands, I can say they are respected far beyond the States.
Don't know about the new generation (guess not), lol
But late 90s/early 00?, you could hear their music at plenty parties/clubs, etc, etc.
It’s a movie & she’s the Director
Lost Boyz came to 🇰🇪 Kenya in the 90s.
I still bump to; Legal, Drug Money...
1995 & 1996 & 1997 they had a great run

Legend boyz😂
Its so dope to see that they got Freaky Tah's son with them, keeping his father's legacy going. This is exactly how it should have played out for Fat Joe and Chris Rivers.
It’s different when the fathers come up together before music
U sound dumb bringing up Fat Joe.
Man I really love that Cheeks was giving Spigg his spotlight!!! Cause Spigg def needed his moments too for missing out all these years, and Cheeks been holding it down doing mad interviews while he was away!! So mad props and respect to Mr. cheeks for doing that!!! 🙇🏽♂️🙇🏽♂️

I caught that! 💯
Spigg talk too much😅😂

You can tell spigg been waiting 19 1/2 years for this very moment right here. He like "Anybody can get it" 😂
I'm from Bed-Stuy Brooklyn and my wife was from Queen.. We are much older than you guys but she was so proud of "The Lost Boys" She passed away ⚘so when I hear Renee, I mean my wife wasn't murdered but that song still makes me feel sad. Every joint The Lost Boys made was 🔥 Not that many entertainers Soul, R&B or Rap can claim that..
Condolences on the passing of your wife. May all the great memories you have of her always live on in your heart & mind.
Prayers my Brother 🙏🏽🙏🏽
God bless you
Mr Cheeks is a legend here in Africa. Respek 💯
Yup bro , even in West Africa were i'm from Mr Cheeks And Lost Boyz are and still legend it's cool to see him healthy.

In Zimbabwe, music makes me high, lexus, coupes, bimaz and benz, Renne and Me and my crazy world, were national anthems. I think l can safely say no American rap group had as much impact in Zimbabwe as the Lost Boys. Big up to LB Fam.
Then I need to come to Zimbabwe

Sorry for your lost
✊🏽🎶🗽🍎👑 I was born and raised in Southeast Queens. Laurelton in the house! 😎😁 LOL The Lost Boyz music was EVERYTHING in the 90s. Their music was one of the soundtracks of my early and mid twenties. I did their dance so many times from the Q-Club to Krystal's to Metropolis and all the other Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Long Island nightclubs I frequented.
Edit: And I worked for the ORIGINAL Shirt Kings in the Jamaica Coliseum Mall, 1986/87. RIP Kasheem. 🤍🕊️
Wow. Wasn't Krystal's located on Merrick Blvd?
@@LATQueens yes, near 89th Avenue, the Queens Public Library and across the street from the Jamaica Bus Terminal.
@Hope's Daughter Okay. Thanks for that info. During the Rudy Giuliana years, they shut a lot of them clubs down, unfortunately. But I'm sure you've had some memories! I was born in '92, raised in the Jamaica section. Still living there as well!

The crazy thing is that streetwise , LB was gangsta, They were definitely in them streets in south jamaica queens... But yet they still chose not to glorify much of it in their raps and chose to have fun in the music.. A few serious and street songs here and there, but they balanced it with that fun element too

Much respect to the lost boyz a lot of these new dudes don’t understand how hard it was to be relevant back then….unlike today with all this garbage music on the radio r.i.p freaky 🙏
Why would it matter that time is dead
🙄 It matters because multiple reports and articles have said music from the 90s and other eras are selling more than new music, and this year the first year since 93 a rap song haven't been number 1 on billboard, it was harder to get on back then, and having to stay popular back then, pertaining all the slick artists that were out, and The Lost Boyz still getting talked about and doing shows and interviews, this interview have over a million views
@@atlsupremeg7462lt matters coz it's relevant history dude.
