I’m glad he expressed the importance of a strong black father in the house and how boys view their mothers discipline! He expressed that in a transparent beautiful way
Denzel Washington basically says the same thing. And they don’t mean that when a young dude kills or robs people that it’s an excuse, just means if you put a strong father (not just black) in their lives it reduces those crimes and all crimes significantly.
My ex has a younger son than mine and had a hard time and partly why we broke up because his dad ain't about nothing and was never around and I was raising my son alone with love AND discipline and she thought that came across to *HER* son as being mean when I treated him the same way. Told her "don't ask for NOBODY'S help then if you ever need to tell him something he don't want to hear." My son is a young adult now and he ALWAYS comes to me when he needs something even though I've been tough on him his whole life
Hate to say this but it goes to show black vvomen don't pay attention to the average man because this is common knowledge. All men with or without father's know once they get around 12 or 13, that there is nothing physically that their mother or any other vvoman can do to them.
