+GracieBreakdown Flow! The more I resisted something that was inevitably coming, the worse position I would find myself in. When I finally realized how to use the opposing force against itself, both in everyday life and on the mat, I was able to relax and focus, waiting until the right time to use the perfect technique for the situation.

Intuition and action. Even if you know 100 techniques if you don't follow your gut you won't ever execute them fast enough or at the right time to be effective.
Friendliness, if you are super Agro in rolling and constantly injuring yourself you will have a hard time finding partners willing to train with you. Likewise in business you want to make your enemy your friend sometimes.

Rener would make a ton of money AND help many people by going on the public speaking circuit. 100% LEGIT! Representing at the highest level! Awesome job.

When you talk about Comfort in chaos, it really reminds me of the concept Antifragile, developed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. He says that we can't measure risks because there are always unpredictable events of great proportions that changes everything (like financial crisis, wars etc.) but we can measure fragility and work them out, becoming antifragile. When I was training JJ (unfortunately I've stopped, but planning to return until the end of the year) I always kept that in mind.

I would love to see Rener have a match with one of his family members like Royce, Rickson or Rorion just in an exhibition bout to see how well he fairs. Obviously they have more experience, but Rener definitely has the ambition to promote the art with confidence and being younger, I wonder how far he could go if not submit.

the Tai Lopez Private Retreat is where this was filmed? What was Tai like? Did he give you one of his Lamborghinis? I heard he had to have 7 Hollywood Hills installed just to hold 2,000 new Lamborghinis. Craziest part: Not long ago he only had 47 Lamborghinis in his Lamborghini account.

Guys, I know, this it's not the linking to talk about, but you, guys, could think a sort of project to make a tour in Brazil, trying to rescue in the academies in general, the concept of self-defense...trying to reborn street jiu-jitsu applicability. Here it's "serious" or serious problem about competitions thoughts...one of the problems is to receive a degree or a belt making part of a tournament and so on...anyway, I'm from Fortaleza, Ceará, in Northeast of Brazil, so you could start from here...kkkk...beautiful and tourist city! Anyway...Cheers!

Nice teaching about the philosophy of JIU JITSU, cause in a real street fight u cant anticipate when u re surrounded by opponents with guns and knifes like in BRAZIL. The best way to keep alive is avoid any kind of confrontation. AVOID SHIT NOT BECAUSE U RE AFRAID, JUST BECAUSE IS FUCKING DIRT.
