Bowling is great I love the old show's
It was originally called the Fair Lanes open and alternated between the Baltimore and Washington area centers each year The reason for the name change was Fair Lanes was purchased by AMF at the time.
NEXT WEEK: WINDSOR LOCKS, CONNECTICUT TIL THEN HAVE A GOOD SATURDAY AND GOOD DAY.
Man both of those bowlers were really lined up and throwing great shots in the title match, it was just a matter of who carried and got better breaks.
Yeah, that's the only part of the telecast I originally got to see back when this took place. Prophecy fulfilled, referring to Bo's comment at 11:50.
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: SATURDAY MAY 25, 1996.
Danny Wiseman and Walter Ray Williams Jr have bowled some exciting matches
COUNTRY CLUB LANES IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.
I'd still like to see Walter Ray bowl a 300 game on TV.

the first, second, and title matches were exciting and close
Walter Ray got robbed on that 11th shot. Couldn’t have thrown it any better
walter ray williams jr almost got a 300 game but he left the solid 8 pin in the semi final
Oh yeah I remember that stone 8 like it was yesterday. I was devastated, WWWJr was my favorite bowler as a kid.
Danny Wiseman: 217
John Gant: 190
Danny Wiseman: 218
Eric Forkel: 201
Walter Ray Williams Jr: 289
Danny Wiseman: 170
Mike Aulby: 248
Walter Ray Williams Jr: 237
Aulby Wins!
That Williams vs Aulby match was a battle! Couldn't ask for a better match!
mike aulby left the solid 8 pin in the 7th frame in the title match. But he made the 10 pin in the tenth frame to win the greater baltimore open.
Man, the ABC opening for the bowling show is the corniest shit ever. Lol ..Absolutely disliked it. Early 80s was the best open. Anyway, the Buzzsaws ball was devastating.
