Peterson, the choreographer, is a very religious person, he attends at the Pentecostal Catholic Church. He create many of his choreos with Christian themes. The little girl at his arms kinda represent the fallen. This is only my opinion, if someone disagree or has a more accurate idea, I'll be glad to see.
I think that you thought like this bc the camera cuts in this video let close elements and forget whole performance ..don't matter if you do always same trick if you'll show it another way ... it work to cards trick too
You're wrong actually. They had enough votes to win but Peterson said that they weren't able to fulfill the Vegas commitments. Shin Lim was in second and he got the 1st place.
The repetitive stunts have a reason: Safety. They use children from 8 to 11 doing dangerous aerial stunts. A new stunt takes a huge amount of time to insert in the choreography. 10 years of existence, 0 kids injured. Not bad huh?
Just like any demonstrative sport, like ice skating, there are many repetitive moves but it's how well they are preformed and how the routine is put together, such as where each move is put in, is what is being judged. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but I believe you miss the point of the performances if all you see is repetitive tricks.
