    Today‘s Shojin ryori is【Umebosi Shiso Sauce】.
    This homemade【Umebosi Shiso sauce】 has a refreshing aroma of dried sour plums and Japanese shiso leaf.
    .
    Mix with boiled vegetables or sprinkle on baked vegetables. That alone makes it a very delicious Japanese food.

    30 sheets Japanese Shiso leafs
    2 Dried sour plum
    90ml Apple cider vinegar
    90ml Soy sauce
    90ml Sesame oil
    2tbsp Maple syrup

    Excited to make this! Would dried shiso leaves work? I don’t think I can find fresh shiso leaves where I live

      @@vegeandkoji7149 I just made some. Came out delicious, but added 4 tbsp maple syrup, it was really salty. Also the sesame oil is overpowering I used 1/2 of what the recipe called for 🤗
