I've shot alot of cci std through several different rifles very decent stuff for the money, that being said I'm kinda surprised christian uses the 10/22 mag setup, they make a great rifle but it's not control round feed this it can shave lead upon chambering affecting accuracy along with rim thickness and weight of each round, sorting would help to somewhat eliminate the dreaded flyer, I myself have done allitle work on my ruger precision rimfire and 10/22's to help that issue, I know by experience if I run that ammo in my cz457 or my bergara b14r I'll punch 4 at less than 1/2 in. Then fly one, at 50, so I will tend to sort that ammo. Although I feed those two a steady diet of sk std+. Great video! Shoot safe and shoot often fellas!

I like the CCI SV because I have several rifles that like it as well. That's what counts. Like any ammo -vs- rifle(s) used in, not all results are equal to the ammo you choose to use in a certain firearm. So, if CCI SV works for you, keep using it. Every rifle bore is a bore unto itself on what produces the best groupings for you. As regards to any ammo producing satisfactory results - it's usually the "one" rifle you use 99% of the time that will yield your best results... Why? Because you know that rifle and setup you have on it, the best.

@@jerryking3208 I was "one of those guys" boasting to Paul Harrell that I'd shot ~ 20k 22lr without a dud. I know I have. But it was mainly RWS (> 60% ?), and back in the 90's. Shortly after saying that, I went out with some Winchester, and had 5 duds (hard struck) in 1k. It made me think of having a car that once every 200 times just "wouldn't start" - you wouldn't buy a car like that!! Even more recently, I went to a club competition with a bulk pack of Eley Std, couldn't run a 10 round mag without a dud - still haven't worked out if it is a really bad batch of ammo, or a soft firing pin spring or headspace issue on my 'new' CZ455 (it's shot everything else fine).
(edit - was actually back in the 80's I did most of my shooting, not 90's, sorry. I'm inclined to think ammo was just plain "made better" all those years ago)

I'd be interested in the DATR challenge (eventually), If I can achieve "not the bottom" I'll be really damn happy!
Re ammo (CCI), there's always "TALK" about how good CCI standard is, and CCI Mini Mags are held in high esteem.
Well, the gossip -> expectations -> real world results never quite seems to match. CCI? *Better* than Winchester (I've had some real crud under that brand name), on average, but nothing to boast about. Until recently. I opened a packet of CCI standard and started loading magazines, and got QUITE A SHOCK when I couldn't get them all out of the plastic tray. WTF? Close examination shows projectiles with lead slag over them so bad I can't get them out of the tray!! (Ok, so how did they get IN the tray? Certainly not like that!). Don't know, don't care - any manufacturer that cares so little about quality control that they'll put (BLEEP) like that out the door has lost me as a customer. Permanently. I can't even understand HOW in the manufacturing process this could actually happen - (some sort of accident / mishap obviously), but it doesn't matter. Whomever DID that in the plant and didn't own up to it has caused irreparable harm to the CCI brand (um, what ELSE could they put out the door....?). I wouldn't have believed this was possible if I wasn't sitting here looking at them. I'm not sure how to post pics on youtube, but I certainly have them!! (You tell me how to get the pics to you, I'll oblige). As far as I'm concerned, CCI can 'GAGF' (Go And Get .....).
    - The FUNNIEST part of this? Ammo was "Pre-COVID". They can't even use that as an excuse for chucking it out the door. I bought it 4 years ago, so date of manufacture has to be a while before that!!

I recently had been looking for a TacSol X-Ring 10/22 16.5” Semi-Automatic .22LR in the Magpul X-22 Stock for a Rimfire Freedom Dispenser.
    Yet, while picking up a 18.5” Beretta 1301 12Ga.

My Tentative Plan is to Throw on a Primary Arms GLx4 2.5-10x44mm ACSS Griffin Mil Scope a 1.54” Height 30mm Mount. Once I’m Settled I’ll Snag Either a DA, CGS Group, Surefire Rim Fire Suppressor to Add a Bit of Extra Fun/Enjoyment to the Shooting Experience.
Ideally I’d like to try and Learn to shoot it out to 200-300yards in order to Cheaply Practice Shooting Fundamentals at “Distance” to improve on judging wind, Bullet Drop, Without having to access a 800-1,000 Yard Range, then sending: .308/6.5Grrndel/6.5Creed Down Range @ a few bones per pull of the Booger Hook, vs the Much Greater Scale of Economy that lobbing in .22LR At “Distance” Can Offer for a Tiny Fraction of the Cost Per-Round of The Overwhelming Majority of Center-Fire Calibers.
