Succ Meme Exactly, if Capcom were to re-work the animations to something smoother they might actually have to re arrange when the hit boxes activate.
That might cause another shitstorm with the tourney players that know these games inside and out which is what this game obviously caters to. People bitch either way so I understood why they didn't even change the animations.

I like the updated graphics, but the movement is not fluid. I pick old style.
as people have pointed out here and there, it seems like while most characters' moves will damage the opponent's health by 50%, Honda, Cammy, Sagat, Claw, and Dictator do significantly less. I wonder how they came to these decisions? 3 out of the 4 original boss characters? Especially for Claw, since it really takes some practice to actually land that move.
The newer graphics only look better in still pictures.

Lalo Clark because they are so 'NEW' that they have them as 'beginner' characters. And you can't even fight them on arcade mode.
To me, evil versions is not what I call new characters. Capcom did this to either get out of creating new character models or to make money by giving people Evil Ryu, who by this point, is starting to become overrated since Super Street Fighter IV Arcade.

I cannot for the life of me pull off Akuma's Raging Demon. I try to copy the input in training mode and still no luck. How do you do it? (Unless you used the 'Lite' control settings)
EDIT: OK after pulling it off a few times I think I've sussed the technique. You have to put the light Kick and the heavy punch close together so you can do the move quick enough. I put LP to Y, LK to B and HP to A. When I have to press B and A I move my thumb like the directional input for Akuma's basic fireball. It's tough to master, but I'm pulling it off quicker every time. :-)
BigGuyZee You're not the only one bruh. I too have this problem, and I even tried by setting the the control settings to lite. I would help you, but I'm trying to figure it out myself. Hell, even the CHARGE supers are a pain in the ass to pull off in this game, especially if you're using the joycon grip controller.
Try the left bumper (RED) for your final press with the default pro config. Good luck :)

If you're using the joycons there is a bug rn where it makes it so no matter what heavy punch is an input before light kick so you can't get the proper input. It's shitty..
I do the aerial version just fine.

Sebastian Castro super sf2 turbo did. Regular SF2 and Super SF2 were before Turbo so they didn't have them yet.

The sprites are 1to1 over the older ones, but they are better than the SF2hd sprites.
Its not so much the graphics that bother me, but the animations are very very stiff

The updated graphics beefed up everyone I think i was imagining it but then I saw the Sagat comparison and yeah they beefed them.
Sounds like they redubbed the dialogue for the Nintendo Switch version.
Shaun N Ince yes they revoiced the switch version. you can choose to play with the original classic version graphics and audio, or stick with the default remastered switch version. They give you the choice to choose between classic or remastered.
