- Well Guys Here it is.. My 1st Gameplay just to Test things out with the new USFII:TFC.
NOTE: I WILL NOT USE THE NEW SOUNDS FOR THIS GAME. JUST THE HD REMIX SETTINGS WITH CLASSIC SOUND ONLY!! SO DO NOT EXPECT ME PLAYING THE GAME WITH NEW SOUND AT ALL!!
I like that after 5 updates, Dhalsim still has the default Ryu death voice.
REALLY, The dhalsim's voice fixed much time later, OMG capcom
13:09 - A Sagat who never did the "tiger uppercut" in 2 rounds is never been a real Sagat!
No instant uppercut
No tiger spam
No knee counters
Sagat was sometimes worse than Bison

Although I like the Street Fighter game from the 90s, this is awesome too! Digitally remastered and everything!
Nina Selene Rossi And even the character's portraits are slightly updated, but still has the same look as their originals from SSF 2.

Uhh yeah he's also scarless in the alpha games- and the vs series. Only in SF4 does he have the big scar
in story Oni was the one gave him the scar? Where they tell that? In udon comics, or some game's scenes?

In the Street Fighter Universe the USSR dissolve much later, Street Fighter II story is during the year 1992

I like how ryu is the only Character in this series out of all characters to have two different potential Storyline arcs,one with him Rejecting the Satsui no hado going down the path of Mu no ken(Like Gouken) in the main canon timeline,While In the what if evil ryu storyline,if he fully got consumed by the satsui no hado he goes down the route of Akuma as the new potential Master of the Fist,Genius Writing Capcom.

What exactly is the difference between ryu and evil ryu, gameplay wise?
Xorth II nothing really they both play the same to a certain degree. Evil Ryu is much more powerful because he gave in to the dark hado. You should watch Street Fighter Alpha Generations. You would get a better understanding of his powers
He gains a teleport, a 3 hit orange fireball, and of course the raging demon. Otherwise they're similar.

Evil Ryu has increased strength and speed along with a different super combo; The Shun Goku Satsu.
Ryu is just the original who hasn't been consumed by evil.
Evil Ryu has the following actual differences:
Evil Ryu can do his close hitting normals by holding back on your controller and pressing the various attack buttons. So he can do a close standing hard punch regardless of how close he actually is to you. This makes controlling him more technical because he does not have context specific normal attacks at close range, you have to manually do them.
Evil Ryu also has more juggle points on his moves, such as his hurricane kicks having the possibility for follow up hits if the opponent is airborne. He has lower defense so he loses health quickly, as one person actually pointed out. Another thing pointed out were some additional specials, basically he gains several Akuma style variants of Shakunetsu Hado/Red Fireball, a teleport, and the raging demon. Evil Ryu also has the hopping kick that regular Ryu had from Street Fighter Alpha 2 and 3.
In essence, Evil Ryu deals and takes higher damage, takes higher stun, has most of the traditional Evil Ryu specials from past games, and he has some mechanics from the Alpha games, the most unique coming from V-ISM where you have control of your proximity normals.

Unbelievable! Yet another SF2 update? This is the most updated game ever!And the new characters are just palette swaps of Ryu and Ken with a few voice changes and other stuff. Worthless!

Remember how EVIL RYU was a hidden boss in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition AND Ultra Street Fighter 4?? Yeah. Kage can be fought as a secret boss in the Street Fighter 4 Arcade path.
It is ironic that Kage isn't in the STREET FIGHTER 2 path of the Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition arcade mode because Evil Ryu is in Ultra Street Fighter 2.
