I realize it's an odd takeaway from the video, but...this suddenly made me realize how much I want Remy to come back for SF6. He already fits the aesthetic and everything!
New Generation was the first game. 2nd Impact was an updated version, with new characters (also EX moves were added). It was a separate game though. 3rd Strike added new characters, and also added new VAs, themes, and stages for each character (some characters share stages and themes because their stages were cut to save space on the hardware)
Whilst Ultra IV wins for best supers in Street Fighter(6 has just started we’ll see how it does with time) Third Strike will always win for how impactful each punch and kick feel like damn they look painful

I'd rather have some forgettable chars over forgettable whole games. SF4 has been basically wiped off the face of the earth and sf5 most memorable quirk was how ass it was on release. Bit odd overall to call Q and Oro and hugo forgettable too, considering the presence they had in the games, while also putting player count against the game, specially considering the fact it has more concurrent players than sf4 and 5 combined(fightcade got 500 players on it rn, while average number count on sf4 and 5 is 130 and 250 respectively), but sure dude, this totally isnt bait.
This game was released in 1999. It was really cool looking back then, and today it still stands out for its 2D artstyle. Not everyone's favorite, but it is what an artstyle is.
I like this game more than SFV. It has beauty in its simplicity.
Excuse me, simplicity!?
All the animations are frickin hand drawn, that's anything but simple

Remy is the biggest reason why I play 3rd Strike.
Emo French Guile was cool!
Such a shame he only appeared in one game...
Agreed. He just feels fun to play. It just feels good to strike opponents with his lanky-ass arms and legs. And his combos are stylish AF.
@@DudeWatIsThis Also his grabs are cool as hell

And spriteswaps, Urien was sort of a way to play a non-broken Gill in SF3 2I
2:20 Now that's a new one I never saw. Must be hard to aim.
Why does Oro have *6 FRIGGIN' SUPERS* in the game? He's still not top-tier.
I blame it on his story and role as a Sage. Hell, even Akuma has a ton of Super Arts here.
If I remember correctly, Oro holds back in his fights, so maybe this is his true power when he’s not

3rd strike: sequel to 3
