I have a Behr color, Pebble, on my dining room walls. It's definitely a greeneige. When paired with green table linens it looks more light sage green, When paired with taupe or natural linen it looks more greige. Love it.
I have always loved green. I used sea salt as a main color. I absolutely love it. I love the ones you recommend. May try one of them in my bathroom or bedroom🤗
I think they're a bit too yellow for me. I decided to go with BM Antique Jade for the bedroom and BM Mystical Blue for the living room. I'm a colours type with wood trim instead of white. Thanks for the video.
I thought you were going to define "greeneige" like more of a, Balboa Mist, November Rain, Sage, or SW Sharkfin territory. I'm surprised how yellow they all looked.
Oh, I love handmade paper and pistachio ice cream! I was kind of expecting the list to be a bit too boring. These would be nice to work with. I tend to like a warm coloured bedroom (used to have light buttery yellow) though I usually see recommendations for cooler tones. Seems like handmade paper would be a good compromise.
My entire main floor and upstairs hallway is painted with Ally’s Earring BM aura paint. It’s a beautiful warm colour that amazingly compliments all my furniture, flooring and artwork. I often get compliments and my sister-in-law liked it so much she painted her own home with this fabulous paint colour.
I used Sherwin Williams Sage to my family room , some of my kitchen and bedroom. Love the color. I also found Drift of Mist for my living room and studio. Odd because I hate white walls, but Drift of Mist picks up other colors and gives an eclectic paint palette.
Thanks for sharing moon shadow. I've been wasting WAY too much time looking for the perfect greeneige somewhere between 55-60 LRV. This just might work!
Why can you only get them in Aura paint? If you take a Benjamin Moore color code to Home Depot they can mix it in Behr paint. Is there any difference on the wall?
Could you do a review on BM Sea Salt? Was thinking this would make a great all over house color. Our home faces West with the main living space facing East. Thank you 😊
HI.! Paint people and James Question for you … what do think about … I consulted a designer and she recommande or suggest to paint my trim above the floor the same color of the wall and the trim around the door also the door white ….. I’m not sur about that one , usually the trim are paint white or the same color of the wall to make those diseaper .. but only the floor one !!? It’s a new trend, or is just a kind signature of the designer Let’ me know what you think I really appreciate the fact you take the times to answer…
@@thepaintpeople No the designer did say why , I remember I was asking which color should I paint the trim above floor .. because I bought a wallpaper who have different colour . should I paint in the lighter or darker colour I just finish to paint my wall in the hallway in Morning Dew , just little light .. Thank you
Please I beg of you ...any white recommendation that will not reflect green from trees in my backyard and onto the walls ?? East facing family room .. 4 sliding glass doors all face the backyard .. I'm going crazy !!!
Hmm, I really don't think you're going to find any. White is just very reflective. You might try a white with a touch of red in it like BM's Adobe White or maybe one that leans cool like Decorator's White. Still don't think white is a good choice if you don't want to reflect green into the room.
I agree..please do a SW green list… Livable Green Sea Salt Softened Green Sea Spray Light Sage Create? Greens..or green/blue/? Please..please..please…..just about to paint…. And how about Succulent as an accent color…
Do people ever consider the color of their complexion when they’re choosing colors for their walls? I have a light-medium complexion with the yellow tint And gray hair. Light green and some beiges Makes me look sick especially in pictures
What are you thoughts about Limewash paint? I’m thinking of painting a room with it but never have before, also the only places I can find that sell it is overseas
Hate greens. I see a lot of yellow in these greens. Maybe it’s the screen. I live in Southwest Florida and I still see multi million dollar model homes painted in agreeable gray and accessible beige. Maybe it’s because it’s so hot here and people still like the cooler colors.
While you did a great job of describing the colors, there was not a single thumbnail of the the rooms where the described color was used that appealed to me. I found some to be truly unlikable. I know, color is very subjective but these colors simply do not rock my boat.
I do not understand folks who don’t like green. Sage green, apple green, avocado green, green/black are the bomb!
GREEN IS MY FAV COLOR!!!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!
Yes, please do one with Sherwin Williams. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Sue!

I LIKE APRIL SHOWERS !
I'd love the SW list!
These are all pretty light and high LRV colours , do you have any examples of some favourite greeneigh colours in the sub 50 LRV?
Yes!
Finally GREEN! Thank you so so much. I'v been hunting for a restful green for my bedroom. Even I will check these out.

I did Silent storm glidden, but with BM paint. Really like it
Woot woot!! I've been waiting for this video! I'm going to look into April Showers & Ally's Earring.

Oh I was hoping for a green beige for exterior use. Any recs?
Could you do a video on Lacquer? Especially the difference between Lacquer and High Gloss Paint?
This is just in time, I picked green to paint a small chest. I use it as a neutral in my house.
I've always loved BM Spanish White. The color changes as the light changes in a room.
must be my screen but they all seem more yellow than green
When you want a green that doesn't look green.
I used wild leek and borage 9 years ago, Sherrington Williams or kwal
Do you still like it?
@@thepaintpeople yes
can you do a video on Lamp Room Gray?
Painted bathroom in moon shadow - what I(now) would call a mid-tone greeneige. So happy with the result!
Thanks for sharing moon shadow. I've been wasting WAY too much time looking for the perfect greeneige somewhere between 55-60 LRV. This just might work!
Love green.
Me toooo!
Wow, and I thought I didn’t like green, not anymore. Great video thanks.
Great information!
Thanks for watching!
I need a light greeneige (70+) that won't go minty in a dark north facing open concept living/ kitchen combo
I like the first color and pistachio
April Showers is eerily similar to Mountain Dew

SW Snowbound….?? Has a distinct very subtle grey undertone…

Yes!! You are not alone. Benjamin Moore Gray Horse became a sickly green in my bathroom. Consequently made me look like I had the flu. 😆
i thought all of these colors looked anemic, and i love green. no offense, james.
What are you thoughts about Limewash paint? I’m thinking of painting a room with it but never have before, also the only places I can find that sell it is overseas
Agreed! I’m also curious.
Limewash is awesome! We are making a video on it soon......
What about Sherwin Williams Greige ? Thanks 🙏
Mint as a wall color? Strong pass. I tested grey owl and its lighter value oc51. I was shocked that they came out as hospital green.
lol
Sounds like you are in a north facing room. Any color that has blue or black (gray) turns blue. The lighter the color the worse it gets!
what on earth have you done to your hair?
What HAVEN'T I done with my hair lol

Too light a colour in a room with very little natural light just makes everything the colour of shadows. VERY dreary.
Very boring colors … too light … not enough color saturation!

Mighty Boards are plastic! Not worth the money! Go to Hobby Lobby and get canvas panels!
Sorry to hear about your experience. To each their own, although mighty boards aren't plastic. 🤣
