- I'm just posting this as another excuse to remind people that 'Being Frank: The Chris Sievey Story' is now out in cinemas and available to order on Blu Ray, DVD or download (from all good stockists and a few rubbish ones as well).
There's also a soundtrack album out on fantastic picture disk and CD (see below).
This Freshies video features an early appearance of Frank, who initially served as a comic linking device to the songs.

There was a standing joke at the time about Julian Cope not being able to get this single and releasing a song called 'I Can't Get "I Can't Get 'Bouncing Babies' by the Teardrop Explodes" by The Freshies'; and then Chris Sievey not being able to get hold of that ... it amused us for literally minutes back then. Still, I've got both singles!

I remember hearing this on the radio many years ago. Had no idea who it was until I saw the recent documentary on Frank Sidebottom and looked up on CZcams 'I'm in love with a girl' and this song appeared in the side panel.
For which ever gods you love and behold that man deserves a place in each of those heavens for reaching into our hearts and nailing our inexplainable love of single song.
