This is such an iconic vid, the silhouettes, fuzzy black and white, the angel choir in the background, the wall of sound, when Bobby finally stands up, you feel he's metaphorically throwing a cig away and putting a can down :D I like the end call and response when they're really rocking out, before Spector got ahold of them, put them in tuxes, the were rockers! Justine for instance. They're Thunder and Silk. Try Soul and Inspiration, that'll knock your socks off!

“The Righteous Brothers” are considered by most to be the Greatest Male Vocal Duet Of All Time. I agree. Between Bill Medley’s Lows and Bobby Hatfield’s Highs they can hit every note on an 88 key piano. No other male singers can do that. Legendary.
“You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” was the most played song on radio in the 20th Century.
"Unchained Melody" - Bobby Hatfield Live 1965. Considered by most as The Greatest Live Male Vocal Performance In History... I agree.
In 1983, in Newport Beach O.C. Calif. Bill and Bobby at the Jolly Roger Restaurant . I was 13 feet away for... "Unchained Melody"- "You've Lost That Lovin’ Feelin‘" - "Soul And Inspiration".... They were perfect, awesome, amazing, incredible......

Harris, I enjoy your reactions so much. Today I listened again to your reaction to Loving Feeling. But I must say one thing. Those high notes were not falsetto. Bobby was a rare "counter-tenor." A voice that could go from Baritone to G5or higher. You can see it in the effortless performances. Especially with "Unchained Melody." No strain, facial features totally relaxed. He was simply the best of the best.

Yes, that's definitely Phil Spector 'Wall of Sound' you're hearing there. Phil BTW died just last week at age 81. He was a convicted murderer and sadly spent his last days in prison. For decades BMI rated this song the most played song on American radio in the 20th century. It came in at #34 in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the greatest songs of all time. And In 2015 it was inducted into the US Library of Congress for its "historic and cultural significance." The word classic almost fails to express the significance of this song.

If you saw the movie "Top Gun," you heard it.. but it was the most played song on radio and TV. in the 20th century, over 8 million plays and combined over 13 million into 21st century according to BMI. Harri, your reactions are so great! you really appreciate real unadulterated talent. Miss Bobby so much! did you know that Bill is still touring. He's 81 years old. Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil were the best husband/ wife duo ever. They wrote both "Lovin' Feeling and Soul and Inspiration. and Brown eyed Woman for Bill, because he had been in love with Darlene Love of The Blossoms. Specter didn't do the Wall of Sound for "Soul and Inspiration." Bill recreated it and did a fantastic job. No one could tell the difference. He also produced "Unchained Melody."

With Bobby Hatfield singing the lead, you can hear the baritone-bass voice of Bill Medley in the background. I think Bill Medley wrote and/or produced this song, Both of them would have been about 21 or 22 years old when they recorded this song with The Paramours.

John Wimber was the person who put the righteous brothers together and he was also a drummer he later became a Christian and started the Vineyard Church which changed the way most churches around the world worship with contemporary worship. No church had done that especially especially with Drums! His testimony is quite amazing and on CZcams as well. The Vineyard Movement was a great movement of The Holy Spirit.
