- This was one of our Maine ports while on the Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas Canadian/New England area cruise. In this video you'll learn about the tender boat process at this port, and how to get the free Island Explorer shuttle to Acadia National Park.

Very nice video. We were here in mid-October and the Island Explorer had stopped running for the season.
Oh no! What happened? Were you not able to go? I didn't know they stopped for a season.

We were supposed to be there in October of 2022, but the captain felt the sea conditions were too rough and passed on Bar Harbor. Not an hour later it was calm. Huge disappointment for us.
Sorry to hear that. It is always disappointing when your port day gets cancelled. We have had that happen, too. Hope you get to go back someday. It was such a beautiful park.
