I've only seen photos from influencers who got a chance to try it, so honestly I don't care. What bothers me is the price given all the limitations.
I swear it’s a “FUN” camera. Even the company itself doesn’t want to use its images for advertising.
Actually, there's a good chance that the advertisement was not created "in house". But yeah, it should have been better. . . .
I'll forgive them if they send me the cameras they shot those images in 😅
I'm betting it's a external studio that has done this. It can happen, I doubt it was a Panasonic employee
My issue with the S9 is there’s literally no reason to buy an S5ii. It’s a better version of the S9 for not that much more. The sensor is superb and the color science is second only to the stuff the Nikon Z family is putting out for me (and maybe Leica but let’s be honest the S5ii is taking a lot from the SL-2S). LUMIX really fumbled by not going mech sensor and having an EVF.
Yeah that’s some bull shite if they *allegedly* did this. That is crazy.
Ive worked long enough in corporative space to know that this could be just a fluke. Its not a big deal. We all know great images can be taken with these cameras. The fact that they didnt, shows that either that was a test image that was just left in there, or they didnt care/didnt have enough budget to try. İt clearly doesnt envolve premeditation/pre planning to claim deception. its a stupid mistake that is blown out of proportion by sensationalist media headlines.

I dunno.. can’t trust most camera reviewers because most of them don’t make a living as professional photographers or videographers. Benj Haisch is a professional photographer with more experience compared to most camera reviewers dropped a 9 min video of taking photos in Osaka with the S9. Camera has the same 6K sensor as the S5ii. Photos looked good.
Like many new cameras, the S9 has simply been too hyped up. It's a fine camera, great for beginners and vloggers and the like, but it doesn't have any truly stand out features and the downsides take it far far away from being a "cinematic beast" that some YTers have tried to sell it as (which also feeds into the distrust and skepticism that many viewers are feeling about said YTers).
LUMIX should not be “learning” - they’ve been at this for quite some time. Between the botched S9 press event and now this debacle, I’m ready to take up a short position on their stock.
Look beyond the cameras their next 5-7 year pipeline on sensor tech will absolutely compete with Sony especially if they move to 100% in house production.
Can take a photo with any decent lens from old/older cameras put them through lightroom/photoshop and the images are every bit as good as any new latest and greatest.
Lumix definitely isn't doing that great. It looks alright if you use the American perspective, Panasonic once had production in US and Americans love anything partly or wholly "home grown". But go to Europe and those things are "on demand" because they have no market share. Fujifilm has twice their market share overall in Europe by now. Even for video the X-H2S has taken a huge bite out of Lumix they're circling the drain

Sorry, but this Nikon thing was a haox created by haters. Lumix has the G9ii and S5ii/X why would they? Get your facts right before doing this shit.
