Once you decide to do a violin recital of 'Whereabouts of Light', you have to invest in some cosplay and put on some Olivier-style outfit. :D
I wholeheartedly agree with your take on the games series as a whole, there are always small nitpicks with every game but if you can trust falcolm to do things right it is: Dialogue, World Building, Characters & Music and those are some of the most important parts for me in a story driven game.

An Olivier cosplay would be pretty fun, I'd absolutely do it if I could manage it. I wonder if I can learn to sew from CZcams...
I love the idea of looking at the games as one big game/story rather than distinct titles. The only downside is that I doubt they keep the same writers between the various games so that could impact the story significantly.

Ok, so there is way out of that forest maze, but if you fail to make progress enough times the game just lets you out anyway without the extra BP or the chest hidden in the maze. I might be mistaken about this, but it's not really a sequence - you're in an actual map grid and the bell sounds louder because you're getting closer to the square that is the exit. Finding the chest (which is not in the same square as the exit) is just complete luck if you don't know how the maze works

yeah that chest was cockblicking my achivements for so long....

I figured as much, it is unfortunate because I was able to figure out the system but by then I really didn't have enough guesses to make it out most likly. Oh well, it was still a fun adventure.

Estelle's dream is one of my favorite sequences in the game. Especially the dialogue with Lena at the end. I also love the music during the dream.
Too bad you didn't talk to the parents after obtaining harmonica as they have some comments about it. I'm pretty sure they mention an instrument manufacturer that comes again in the story some 4-5 games later.
If you manage to find your way through the fog before time is up, you obtain bonus BP. It was a bit silly that you heard a loud chime rather early when Estelle commented that the sound was a hint, but instead of moving toward the source you stubbornly went left despite the sound getting quieter with every transition and then you walked completely randomly instead of moving back to the place where it was the loudest.
As said before, you have immediately noticed that Luciola would be better described as `half-naked lady' or `exotic-looking woman' than `lady in black'. That description is really weird.
The classic `let's just finish the final dungeon in the chapter real fast'. Top quotes before staying up too late.
Looking forward to the next episode - there is a new sidequest in Rolent that is one of my favorites in the series.

You mentioned the last minute "this should be quick" moment, at that time the recording was already 2 hours long, with some farming and the big monster hunts were pretty time consuming so it had already been a while. I seriously am in aw of streamers who will work for 4-6 hours at a time playing a game while interacting with chat. I don't think I'd be able to do that even if I had the time!

Mini Estelle just doing cute things made me puke rainbows! But there was no way she would stick around in that happy place because she has a broken boy to fix. And we all know how much most girls just LOVE that little power fantasy! 😊
Everyone has the same inevitable reaction upon Seeing Luciola's outfit: Gravity is just a suggestion....and i love anime. 😂
And you know: I see way too many people who feel the need to rank the Trails games and i don't really appreciate it because it's all just one huge game to me.
(Currently starting Reverie. I have no clue where things will go from here and i plan to savour the game slowly...and actually read the books this time.)

I absolutely love the "one story" angle and I absolutely am stealing that from you!
Yeah that outfit is something else, but I don't hate it... it is clearly witchcraft as it defies physics.

The "time limit" in the illusion section before the boss fight is not actual time, but rather screen transitions. You get bonus BP if you find the exit before 20 screen transitions.
You should now be able to visit the final fishing spot, near the Servais Tree.
One of the quests in Rolent requires you to have a certain fish. Fortunately, the easiest rod to catch it with was one you've obtained before. You can catch this fish by using a river snail as bait (you got some from the arts reflecting snails during the extermination quest earlier) in the fishing spot near the Servais Tree or the fishing spot on the road south of Rolent.
Rolent's "Riddle Quest" has a really tough fight as part of it. Be sure to save and also look up in advance which type of sepith you're most in need of.
The next region has a subquest where you need to look for ingredients again. However, you can skip part of the quest AND get bonus BP by talking to an old acquaintance in town and get him to help you with your quest.
The "Riddle Quest" of the next region is mostly straight-forward, except for the third riddle, which is really obscure. The object it refers to is in the airport screen.

I was guessing there was more to do in Rolent but based on your comment it sounds like it'll be quite a bit left to do.
Thanks for the insights, I'll do my best to make you proud!
