- Ski-touring, the act of ascending a mountain with the aim to ski down it, has been around for as long as skiing itself. Some see it as a workout, some as a way of enjoying a better lunchview. Others have discovered the potential to find untouched snow far from the lift lines, the noise pollution of helicopters and snowmobiles, and the rat race for powder snow.
Follow the winter season of Jacob Wester and his friends as they dig deeper into the Norwegian mountains in the search for the ride of their lives.

Wow Jacob and Sofia, this was an amazing film. I see Niko has been inspiring some others with his eco-friendly approach to skiing. I think it makes the films just that more amazing seeing the process of the bootpacking to and from the mountains. The shots at 12:34 and on were too good, the avalanche just dumping over the features with those insane airs out of the lines.

Thank you for your kind words! The soundtrack is entirely produced by myself, so all the songs are still untitled and live on my laptop only :) If I get around to it I will release extended versions of all the tracks on my SoundCloud later this season! So stay tuned :)

Thought was a close one with that flatspin or what it was (learned my tricknames from skateboarding and snowboarding, so never fully got the hang of the skiing related tricknames...).
Just thought while watching the movie: there are always two questions that come up in early season with all the ski movies and the ski reviews- shall I buy new skis because the old ones probably will be at the end of their lifespan soon (since 3 years... no comment on that) or should i buy a new computer screen that can show more shades of white... ^^
