- Scoped the line when we rode the north face of Aiguille De Mesure and went back to try it with Tom Grant.
Did a variation of the normal couloir to get fresh tracks, and it was STEEP!
The ramp was mind-blowing with all the exposure, and the snow was perfect!

Wow another upload!! You’re on a roll🎉
You know it’s steep when krister is doing hop turns
Hehe I had no option on this line :P
5% skiing, 95% mountaineering, 100% madness! 🤯
Wow 🤩! Serious lines ! Very impressive ! Thank you so much for sharing !
Holy Steepness! 😬 such a beautiful spot! Thanks for sharing all of your adventures so quickly! 🔥
Thanks for watching!
More CZcams Krister!! The things you do are incredible, I could watch you have fun in the mountains all day long!
Thanks! Ill keep it up :D
Wow! That's some crazy terrain. Really excited you are putting out content.
Thanks!
Incredibly impressive, but I refuse to believe that anyone can have any fun doing this, I’d be shitting my pants every second of the run.
🤣
Holy moly that's steep! (And very cool; stoked for more videos from you!!)
Wow, never seen Krister under 50 Km/h before, and without Niko egging him on. Two firsts. Great video as always.
🤣More to come!
I used to go climbing with Andreas, no way I would follow him on my snowboard :-). Good to hear his legend lives on, what a great guy.
🙏
Helt sykt Krister!
Legendarisk video!
Wow so sickkk! Cant even look down it
Love watching you ride, you made me get a splitboard myself
How did I not know about the KOPE SHOW!!!!
That is sick. WOW !!!!!!
Oh man, anyone who plays Townes on a snow sliding edit is a friend of mine. Rowdy line!
the snow seams amazing
the sickshow! villeste!
Surprised to hear a Townes van Zandt song here. Fantastic mountaineering and snowsports!
Amazing🔥🔥🔥
Very nice!
So dope 👏
Unreal. Love to know more about your gear set up! Do you always go with hard boots?
Yeah im allways in hard boots🥰
Nais!
Steep lines with Townes in the background, great combination ! 5.5, E4 ???
You guys are so underrated. Love your Videos 🫶
Thanks!
Just to get a glimpse of the tactics here: did you climb out of the first couloir all the way up to the ridge primarily to have a good stand again to put on skis/board? Or also to have more overview and verify you drop into the right one leading all the way down to the valley?
I didnt see any other way to the second line, so we had to go down another line and then climb back up. I like climbing lines if im sure about the snowpack, then I can really feel out the conditions :)
Ya know it is f*cking steep when Krister isn't just sending it.
Haha True!
hey there, I recently switched to hardboots in splitboarding and are still having some trouble only with riding deep powder, I believe due to my stance setup (angles I'm used to with softboots aren't working properly for me). now I'd love a little gear video of your personal setup to get some insights. I see a Furberg split with Phantom M6 bindings at +3 +18 degrees or similar, correct?
Hi! Yeah im editing a gear video as we speak🙏 My angles are +24 front and +9 on my backfoot🙏 what setup do you have?
@@kriskopa I went for the Plum SOK since I like not having the snowboard bindings in my backpack but attached at all times and even if I want to change that I just need to switch out the toe pieces and maybe the heel raisers. right now I'm trying out +18 +3 but I will increase the angles, especially for the backfoot soon and might go a little narrower with my feet. I suspect not being used to a hardboot in powder troubles me since I only used hardboots in the resort on groomed slopes before. board is a Capita Neo Slasher so fairly standard.
Nice.. go pro makes it look less steep and even still it looks steep as feck.. well done
Yo krister! Way to live man!
It's too steep and you're too high 😂. Glad I'm just watching from bed with a cup of tea.
Beast!
Wow, great adventure!
Which boots du you use ?
Check out my gear video and Ill tell you about them 🥰
That did not look like fun. A lot of exposure there. Well done guys!
Håhåhåhåh good stuff
La folie humaine !
Krass!
what boots are you using on your snowboard?
The one I'm talking about in the video. Key Equipment boots
Fette rå brettkjører all around dude stå på✊🏼🤩
Haha Takk!
where is the pleasure to go down this. Just a nightmare.
Actual big mountain riders !! Technically rational and safe intelligent turns..
nice!
insane, no way of idea to board there
sick
Great stuff ! Im wondering what's the reasoning for holding rhe piolets facing toward you ? It seems to me that it would not be convenient in case you needed to self arrest.
Thank you !
Its a bit for the feeling when riding, like feeling the axe on the snow and if you fall, you can still self arrest with the axe like this.
Which board set up are you using?
Im riding the Furberg BigMTN board, Phantom bindings and Key Equipment boots 💪
thank u :)@@kriskopa
was this filmed on a go pro ? if it was then it's only a million times more harry!!
Hehe yeah! Iphone 15 and gopro 12 💪
@@kriskopa Holy Sheet!! well I'll never ride with you .. thanks!! hahaha some of the steep runs in Mammoth filmed on a go pro looks like a bunny hill.
Omg 🤩🤯🥴
Would that be considered a black run?
Hehe I think so 🤪
it would be nice to mark the line red for example in the end of the video, otherwise it doesn't look skiable, though it doesn't look skiable anyway 🙃
Beauty
Bros cheering Bros!
In fact, the biggest challenge is not to take wrong path down.
gnar! good snow mind you! I'd drop :)
Nice mountain climbing video, but what are these strange pieces of wood attached to your legs? They are getting on your way all the time
🤣🤣
🤟
Wow.
Good camera angle
That's like me on ordinary black ...
How high is the avalanche danger here in this video?
Not high at all, we didnt have any sign of instability in the snowpack
No skechy stuff!! Way past that for me. Could someone tell me what are the boarder's boots?
Keyequipment
@@valentingram9806 Thanks I stand corrected.. :)
Thank you@@valentingram9806
Yeah its Key Equipment boots! The best hard boots on the marked!
Townes!
Definition of acid.
But the snow seems to be in a perfect condition.
Indeed it was!
Why aren't you connecting your turns and skiing out this line?
It was a bit too steep for me to do that😅
That really didn’t seem like a great place to ski. Lot of work for little length to ski.
Got to love the work :D
First rule of ski club: don’t fall
It would be much better without the music.
Thats not boarding or skieing in my world😅
Man that’s exposed
Impressive, but this looks much more dangerous than it is fun!
Insanity
Way too much risk vs. reward
I guess it depends if there is a risk of not making the turn, there is a lot of risk on this line. The snow was 100% and the reward 100%
This is turning not skiing
What is the point fofskiing these 55 degree slopes if you cannot make consecutive turns?? Not beautiful!
I guess it’s for my personal experience of beeing out where not to many people dare to go 😅 we made some consecutive turns on our way out💪
It’s not “cool”, they are both scared to fall knowing that there is a chance they would die.
Sir, I need you to write your username first and last name in capital letters - it's killing me
Haha yessir
@@kriskopa🧘
Impressive as hell. But can't see the enjoyment in just jump turning down something uber steep. Working risking your life for? I don't get it.
I guess people have different ways of finding enjoyment and success in life. And for me, making jumpturns on steep terrain with a stable snowpack is just perfect.
no interest at all... dangerous and no gliss...
First! Boo ya 😅 🏂 🏂
