I didn't know there were hoses like this. I've seen the flexy, stretchy like hose that I thought of getting but these seem stronger than those. Every time I water my garden it's a full body battle rope workout that is probably doing me some good though. 😂

Good review man! I have flexzilla hoses, had to put them over our gravel driveway as I am watering some trees we planted 400 feet from the house. I got a hose reel cart to help, but these Flexzilla hoses are lightweight, I'm always surprised when I'm handling them. I'm a mechanic, raise egg layer hens, and new to taking care of plants. My wife has always been the gardener. But I'm excited to be involved in the "tool" buying process. Have a good one!

I have two 50's I bought from kmart in 1988, lifetime guarantee. At 22 years they started to kink just a bit. At 33 years one has a pin hole leak. These have been the best hoses I've ever used, and I have had a couple cheap ones too that are really kinky. So this spring I bought a Flexzilla to try out as I have their air hoses. So time will tell.

    • @CMooreStarts

@@CMooreStarts I ended up finding a teknor apex “Zero G” 100 ft hose at Walmart on clearance for $18. Figured it could save me a bit of money. I figured why not. Got it home and it works great. It doesn’t kink and moves a lot of water. We will see how it holds up over time. I wish they would have had 2. I may still get me a shorter flexzillla for the front yard.

I own 3 flexzilla hoses now. My original one I purchased back in 2015(had green colored ends), purchased same hose but came with grey colored ends back in 2020, and in 2021 purchased one with the swivel ends. The only issues I have had with the non swivel versions is due to my own mistake by running over one of the ends on the first hose not paying attention when parking in the drive way so needed to replace the end on that one. Other than that and the green colors fading a little over the years being out in the sun light all day during summer I have had no problems. The original one seems to unlink itself better though. It has 2 rubber ridges molded inside of the hose going the whole length of the hose that seem to really help the hose unkink when pulling it much easier. The other two hoses don't have the ridges so don't unkink themselves as easy as the original one.The swivel ended hose also got a small pin hole leak a few feet from the male end side within the first year which was surprise but isn't hard to fix but is not acceptable either especially within a year.
I also own two 1/2 inch diameter flexzilla air hoses for my air compressors with no issues and love how light weight and flexible they are compared to any of the other air hoses I have owned over the years and they also have out lived any other air hoses I have owned also. Every other brands I have owned break down from exposure to sunlight very quickly and are very heavy and bulky and don't flex very well either.

Thank you for the information. I don't know in what state you live, but I live in the Midwest where it gets pretty cold, and my regular hose stiffens up around November. Just the time when I need it to clean my gutters after Fall. I wonder how this hose will do in cold temperatures. Will it stay flexible while I pressure wash my gutters? I don't know if you have had that experience. Thank you.
