WOW this is the first time I’ve seen this video. My Mom and late Grandma Betty Cole was at this iconic show in London,Ontario,Canada at “London,Gardens” which is where the “OHL” London Knights use to play at. My Mom still has her ticket stub to this show 😃 My Mom also seen the “Beatles” in Toronto twice in the early 60’s at Maple Leaf Gardens.

If you watched the movie Walk The Line and if it is true, Vivian was high maintenance and was very critical also could not please her while with Johnny most of the time. Johnny looked miserable the last few years being married to Vivian. As for Vivian, I'd be upset too if he tried to put up a photo of Johnny and June singing together and other things he did during the marriage, but I don't believe Johnny would have done half of these things if he was truly happy in the marriage. June was the one who got Johnny off drugs and alcohol; Johnny and Vivian were very young when they married too.

Most likely it wasn't a planned publicity stunt to propose to her at a concert. Why not do it at a major venue in his own country? No, I think this was his way of talking her into it, being super romantic by proposing publicly, simultaneously putting her on the spot lol it was a beautiful scene in the movie and I'm sure it was very memorable for them in real life :)

Sadly, I don't think it was intentional. Johnny fell in love with June while she was singing in his band. According to the movie, Vivian was not easy to live with and drove him into June's arms. I'm not saying it was right, it was what happened when ppl don't try and work at their marriage.
