I felt like they kind of beat around the bush in his biopic movie . They left some of the good things out that's he's done in his life , the best thing they ever did in that movie was when he went to his record company and he told them that he was gonna record live at the state prison . He had a show out called the Johnny Cash show that they never added . That time in 1965 when his camper set fire lol . That time he was interviwed with the great James Brown. They didn't even add the song the man in the black, he wore black in the movie but it doesn't show why .
Clay Evans Hey Clay, you are right that so many essential points in the movie were missed. I missed them too.( his attitude towards the natives...and..and )But this movie was made by Hollywood and the main point of the movie was the CASH/Carter love affair. The movie was supervised by their son John Carter CASH. He obviously didn't think that those points you pointed out were of importance.

Well, the things you said you wanted in the movie, most of those take place after the timeframe of the movie. The movie ends in 1968, Johnny didn't have his television show until 1969 or 1970. Man in Black wasn't recorded until 1971. 3 years after 1968.

No. Actually, John was in a great deal of pain due to a botched jaw surgery. He had to stay on pain medicine from that time onto the rest of his life.
