@@outlawdingo3020 Fuk I hate people like you.. “oh just upgrade every thing and spends thousands of dollars bro don’t waste your time” Fuk outta here. Maybe old mate doesn’t wanna push 300 hp running 30psi blowing rods out his block.. maybe try saying yeah the 16g with the 6cm is actually really good and works well with the 10mm pump on a TD42 and you can get some real nice numbers with some good down Torque. Surprised you didn’t say just Barra swap it brah or drop a ls in it mabah.
@@ohheyyythere1287 The second I put a 11mm boost comp pump on I want bigger turbo. would just do pump intercooler and turbo at the same time better for your engine and more fun.
Cheers mate! Yeah it's holding up great still runs and feels like the day it was put on. It's been on for a couple of years now. I have it set at 17psi but i do see it spike when i give it abit to about 23psi. Would make 30 pound if i wanted it to but i just have it safe tuned.
The coils are 3'' Dobinson super flexxys for a long wheel base so they have a little heavier load rating so it has around 3.5 - 4 inches of lift. You don't really want to lift the shortys much higher than that. And the tyres are 33s i did have 35s under it but didn't feel a need for them so went back to 33's. Cheers
I have a TD42ti with 11mm pump too . Cant decide between 18g or 16g with 6cm rear? You happy with the 18g? Someone told me the 18g is laggy? even with 6cm rear
If it's just a standard 11mm pump and you don't plan to upgrade it in the future then i would definitely go with a 16g and 6cm rear housing. You will get much better driveability with the 16
The biggest thing is the exhaust wheel design. I had a mamba 18g 9-blade 6cm on my ute with a 12mm pump and it was laggy, swapped to an evo 3 12-blade turbine wheel and upgraded to a 20g front and it's more alive than it's ever been
Best noise I’ve ever heard!
what a rig, well done. always wanted one of these.
Both Patrol, Land Cruiser and Hummer h1,
Are the suvs with very good exhaust sounds
Inspirational cheers mate
Nice mate, Im running stock 10mm pump on my gq td42 and looking to get a mamba 16g 6cm to run 15psi, good video!
Your better off with an 18g upgraded pump and intercooler, don’t waste your time with a 16g

Have u had it dyno’d I’ve got a garret ar 50 turbo on my patrol but not sure if I should get this turbo
Nah mate i have never had it on the dyno. Good turbo though.
How’s the mamba holding up 2 years later?
Mint! Still spooling like the day i brought it.
How much horse power?
St Leonard’s?
Sure is
Hey mate what offset are the wheels?
-44 mate.
Mamba 18g turbo?
Yeah mate it's a Mamba 18G
Do you know what blade setup is on the turbo ?
I think The Comp wheel is 11 blade and the Turbine wheel is 9 blade.
Cheers
What size injector pump? Also what size rear housing on that turbo?
