- How to fix interproximal cavities on front teeth using dental composite filling material
1. topical and local anesthetics applied
2. The teeth are prepared (decay is removed)
3. The enamel is etched
4. Bonding agent is applied
5. Bonding agent is cured.
6. Matrix system is placed.
7. A wedge is used to fix the matrix system.
8. Dental composite resin material is applied
9. The teeth are shaped and polished.
10. Occlusion is checked, adjusted.

You know he did a great job matching the color when we got to the shot after final shaping, I looked away for a split second then looked up and realized I forgot which teeth he was working on. nice job.
Lol... I thought those teeth looked weird😂. Took me a few to realize it was a fake mouth 😅. I can honestly say a front filling is just as good if not better than composite veneers
I had this done today on one front tooth. $150. It looks so much better. I’m sure the cavity come from years of saline breathing treatments.

Thank you for this. I just found out I have 7 cavities, all on the sides/between teeth and didn't know the procedure. I know it'll probably be at least kind of painful, but I'm less scared about it now that I see how it goes.
Do you have any pain or sensitivity? I’ve been expierencing that and was wondering if anybody else has the same feeling
@@MatthewRass okay so! Cavity sensitivity is basically have you ever had MAJOR discomfort when eating a sweet, or cold, or even hot food to the point you switch sides in your mouth? Or just you switch pressure on the side of your mouth to relieve it? That’s how you can tell you have them before you get told.
I also have 7 cavities but all on my molars

@@anyway2369 well depending on how deep the cavity is, they wont do anything big unless its necessary, id just say try not to worry about it and they got it under control no matter worried you are about it

@@docgenix9152 i don't think you do, i think the only reason it would be needed is if they did not do it right or a new cavity appears really close to it and they drill part of the other filling to put a new one in on that cavity

So if my tooth was butchered and looks nothing like it should, should I sue for malpractice or what? Went to a dentist years ago for a small filling in the back of a front tooth which they drilled from the front to get to, then didn’t fill the tooth in correctly and it left almost a gap/ hole in the front. The filling has fallen out after only a few years and now there is a giant hole in my tooth too.. not cool

That big decay I would expect puphorn involvement on an xray. I would do a temporary restoration with dycal to make sure it's not infected and then proceed with light cure restoration.

Ive had this fromt cavity for awhile now its pretty big and i was just hettinf scared they weren't gonna be able to fix it since it was between my tooth and not just a tiny whole but has spreaded some. I can't afford dental care rn but this made me feel better knowing it can be fixed eventually!
Im 15 and I've never had a cavity. Just found out I had four just starting. (I had braces so my Knines are where it is.) Its hard to clean around every single bracet. I got so scared about the procedure. But this is helping me reconsider to decide what's best for my health.
Everything will be great! I've gotten many fillings for cavities before, the only part that I absolutely hate is the numbing part, the rest of you don't feel!

Is it true that it is better to try to use composite filling on front teeth instead of a crown or veneer? I have been to see a few dentists because I have a hairline fracture on my front tooth that happened because of a cavity and several trusted dentists told me I only need composite filling etc but a few said root canal and a crown but it makes no sense? Who do you trust?
