Sir One question which I do have since Long.. How common is veneer chip off or dislodgement and if there is a diffrence wheather composite or ceramic was used.. Also how much force would we call heavy can patient use them confidently routinely..

What about if the pt has a 16 previously large amalgam filled tooth and crown ..n now after 2yrs the crown has come out and he want a new crown again ...and the tooth was not trimmed occlusally properly previously..what will you suggest now
Do a better crown prep and get a new crown made :)

You’re most welcome :) Thankyou for the watching! Composite veneers are much cheaper and require more maintenance. Ceramic ones the opposite.

Solid truth😂👌 my wife has done her front 6 tooth composite veneers but they have been chipping off after doing it twice, earlier she didn't do her implant of lower back tooth but now she has done so her chewing is habitually from front teeth she is trying to correct kindly suggest what should we go for repair or ceramic veneers or crowns?
Someone needs to put the truth out there :) If the veneers chipped off because of biting from the front forcefully as no teeth at the back, get them repaired as she now has the bite at the back. However, this is IF the veneers were sone correctly. You can send me a message on Instagram with pictures of her teeth before veneers/after veneers and I’ll tell you if they are ok :)
