- According to the in-game voice, going for "C" is more important than getting an Extra Ball or claiming bonus at the 8-ball saucer. Unfortunate ending to the game, considering what I had running up, but still a classic to play. Even the best players get house balled.
In other words, quit talkin' and collect bonus.

it wasn't amazing at all.....anybody can rack up a ton of points when you have "Tilt" turned off
@@furnitureconsortium Can't disable tilt without completing all the Wizard Goals in this game. On my current save (the same one I recorded this game with), I don't have them all finished. Tilt is enabled, but Farsight gave this game a very lenient tilt bob in this recreation.

Spelling out deluxe seems near impossible
Yeah if getting 2 letters means you've rolled over the score and gotten multiple Free credits I cannot imagine what actually finishing deluxe even looks like
What happens if you do spell the word DELUXE? I used to play this on Visual Pinball a lot, but I never was able to spell DELUXE.
@@LeotheTiger1234 on the real pinball machine, the letters of DELUXE would carry over from game to game. In other words, you might walk up to the machine and DELUX_ is lit up and all you have to do is get the in-game deluxe one time to light the E and complete DELUXE on the backglass. Whenever I've played the game finishing DELUXE on the backglass would score 3 free games. and reset the DELUXE to 0 letters lit. It was always nice to find an Eight Ball Deluxe with most of the DELUXE lit because it was not such a difficult way to win 3 games at once.
@@biggsterboy I see; thank you. I used to play this a lot on Visual Pinball, and I always had everything but the last E in DELUXE. The one thing I could never do was earn that last E. I could do everything else, but not that.

You can't, unfortunately. Farsight lost the license to sell it.

Idk what is so impressive, I counted 7 irl tilts on that first ball. But I'm 62 and play real pinball.
